@JustGaPaid As Shendu has said in another episode the tiger was originally meant to balance the other 11 talismans. It was NEVER and I repeat NEVER meant to be separated. Thus, the use it has in the TV show is a mistake that, honestly, should never have happened

Valmont has two backup plans:

1. Using Shendu as a distraction to Jackie while he and his men rob all of Shendu's treasure in case he betrays him.

2. Jade may have killed Shendu that causes his palace and treasure to turn into dust, but Valmont gets all of the talismans for his crimes.

Ok, this is a common question, but: How did Shendu become a statue if he was banished into the Demon World? I guess a better question is, How did he escape? Somebody please reply and explain!

Apparently he found a way out (possibly a rift in the time and space continumum) after his intial banishment thus escaping the demon world and proceeded to rule over China, making no effort to free his brothers and sisters (which is why they were angry at him in the later series).

As for becoming a statue his subjects rebelled against him and created the spell that turned him into a statue and turned his powers into the talismans and scattered them thus setting the events shown in this series

it is simple. he was never banished like his bretheren. he was turned into a statue instead. it explains how jade could leave the daemon world while shendu went though.

It never really explains but I think after he was banished to the Demon World his brothers and sisters helped him to escape, then another Chi wizard turned him to a statue. cause in the last season it explains that orgionally Shendu's powers werent in talisman form. The wizard turned his powers into talismans.

He also wasn't banished to the Demon World. He went there once Jade destroyed his statue, though.

perhaps his portal was created by the pan ku box. it would have to have been around as the lock for the doors anyway. besides they intended to banish shendu in the first place but he was turned into a statue instead after escaping the original banishment (i think...or he was just turned into a statue)

I believe a door was made for Shendu just as there was a door made for the other demons, however, I think Shendus talismans intervened.

Either they COULDN'T banish Shendu because his talismans made him too strong, or they chose to simply turn him into a status and spread the statues as opposed to banishing him.
