This song should be played NOW (in 2010) to all those Wall Street jerks, greedy bankers, etc, and also forced to read the lyrics. Applies to them very much.
I agree that this should be played now - but to the Far Left Wingers in chanrge of the White House and Congress at present. Applies as much, or even more, to them re the Orwellian Big Brother State they are trying to ram down our throats.
It's the classic version of the movie, Sapov. In 1984, they added COLOR to the movie, in tints of blue, yellow, red, green, etc. All of this music was created/sung for the soundtrack. It was a neat experience seein' this in the theater. :)
WTF?!!!

Summer of 84 - they played this a lot on the radio. Afterward, you hardly heard it again.

Amazing, awesome album, this soundtrack was used in a remake of Metropolis or the classic version with music added? never heard of this
Sapov 2 years ago 2
to Sapov - Glad you like this style: the tune was by Giorgio Moroder one of the most talented electronic/dance producers and composers.
A true pioneer: a prewiev of progressive trance was clearly there ...twenty years in advance.
