  • i grew up listening to this group.thanks tio bobby for hooking me up

  • who's grooving on the kit? i know it's not Danny Lamont, the best drummer EC ever had

  • Man do they cook...but what's that doohickey spinning around @ 3:45?

  • OMG...They still ROCK! The best music came from the 1970's!

  • great video, you can't please everyone. but I enjoyed it!

  • God..we miss you Bobby...

  • that fool with the beenie just sitting there doesnt appreeciate the legends

  • @PAMAROSHOUSE you my friend are the fool. The guy with the beenie is the director, producer and the guy responsible this very complex reunion of legends.

Had it not been for him and his crew, you would not be even viewing this video.

  • @vergefilms who cares about this video its the music thats important not what they look like we know they are old and grey im just interested that they can still play

  • @PAMAROSHOUSE what you do not understand or seem to know is, this is from the documentary called "El Chicano:In The Eye of The Storm" . With the exception of the conga player, these guys are the ORIGINAL El Chicano band, not the EC touring now which has a couple. Bobby Espinosa seen in this clip is no longer with us. What you see and hear in this video is a rare event which took a year of planning. Some of these guys had not seen each other in 30 years. You will never see or hear this again.

  • @vergefilms i understand where you are comming from, but in my opinion i dont really care to se then i would rather just but there original recordings, alot of groups now days are 1 or 2 originals then they add young fools.so id rather listen to their records that watch them on video what for,i like the music not what they look like now.

  • That's so damn hot.

A shout to Johnny from TK...

  • great song....i was in a concert of El Chicano back in 1977 in Mcallen Tx

  • cool video but the videographers gave no love to the conga player Marcos J Reyes during a killer solo. What's up with that?! they showed the other players including a really tight shot of the keyboard player's hands during his solo and a 10 second trap kit solo. The conga solo was about a minute long during which we saw everything in the room (including a guy on a couch) except the conguero!!!!

  • Great music by great musicians. The band is totally together in music and in spirit. Thanks for sharing.

  • eL cHICANO ..........FANTASTIC BAND!!!!!!STILL LOVE THEIR MUSIC AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!......THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE MUSIC..

  • Rest In Peace Bobby Espinosa, keyboardist for El Chicano. You will not be forgotten.

  • el baterista es john de luna

  • Artists like this ol vato's are timeless. There music will be in in our grandkids music library.

  • I always find it odd when camera guys focus on everything except what's happening right in front of them. Great conga solo but did the cameraman show the conguero for more than 2 seconds during his solo? Evidently it was more important to show some kid about to pick his nose. What's up with that? These guys sound as good as they did 30 years ago. Viva El Chicano! Sabor!

  • these guy aint nuthin but badasses,,,

  • It is great to see Mickey and Bobby playing together..

  • leonocon,im not sure thats Lespron on guitar i think its the 2nd guitarist named Jerry Salas. im a white boy from cali and not many people have heard of this group. keep on rocking.

  • That is indeed Lespron..

¡ Viva Tirado ! ¡ Viva El Chicano !

  • fuckin beautiful . .... .

  • Plan now! See this El Chicano along with Tierra at the Tropicana Casino and Hotel on May 1 and 2. Make your reservations now because it is the same weekend of the Pac/Hatton fight. Tell them Malosuave sent you.

  • What a great band! And Mickey Lespron is such an under-rated guitarist. I play a lot of the band's music on radio here in South Africa and always get a great response. Viva El Chicanoooooo!

  • Does anyone else see a certain likeness to John Lennon from Bobby Espinoza towards the end of the session? You should..musically.

  • Listening to El Chicano, Malo and Santana as a young child in the early 70's from my older sisters influenced me to play bass guitar!

  • Hey That´s funny! I used to listen to the same groups like you and today I play Bass as well!!! Unfortunately I do not find anybody in Germany who knows this group!

  • legendary ''chicano band'' brown berets east l.a.

  • nothing has lost despite their age. Close your eyes and you hear a long haired micky and jerry

    and john

  • one legend band.

  • Always liked El Chicano. Mickey Lespron's a great guitar player. Pretty much unknown here (Australia).

  • El Chicano a very underrated group, always in the shadow of Santana. They were a great group of talent and would jam for hours on stage, because they loved doing it that way. Like they said, "made loud, to be played loud" Viva El Chicano!!

  • Thanks for adding this. Great quality. Love the sound!
