THIS guy kills it - I have seen him in Palisade, CO, Fort COllins, CO, NY, NY (Free Clinton Park located within Battery Park on the south tip of Manhattan, Grizzly Rose in Denver, CO and Fruita, CO - and he killed it everytime.....blew people away...I brought newbies to each show and they all bought cd's and other tix straight away.....thank GOD he never 'sold out'....he is the most important musician alive today.....TJP
He kills it because he graduated from Sharpstown High Scrool! Every time I hear this guy speak,(especially live) it just takes me back home a little bit, but it isn't like it was back there. So old REK just sounds a lot like a big cold RC, sittin in front of the U-TOT-EM store. Or eating a Bonus Jack out there at the Jack-In The Box on Fondren.
