My favorite is spicy cajun sweet potatoes. They're spicy and savory with a hint of sweet. I love these at thanksgiving, but mostly I snack on them like popcorn.
1" diced sweet potatoes
olive oil
Brown sugar
cajun seasoning (I like Tony Chacceres)
Italian seasonings
Cayenne Pepper
black pepper
other spices you like (cumin, paprika, etc.)
Mix and put in a 13x9 and roast in the oen 325 - 400 F for like 30-40 minutes. Basically just cook until fork tender, or go longer if you like them softer.
We dont have the tradition of Thanks Giving but I need to try some of the recipes you generally use on that holiday :D
I always wanted to go to NY but you know its too expensive and Nutella Macaroons are going to be my argument to convince my parents to pay me the trip xD
And Dan...please, with the finger? Twice? xD your so funny
omg nutella macaroons!!! **drools**...umm fav part of thanksgiving would have to be be cornbread dressing(stuffing not stuffed lol)its my grandfathers recipe and i adore it!
This street sweets place looks amazing. To answer your question, my fav thanksgiving food is ALL OF THEM! I literally cannot pick. It is the best holiday ever.
sounds awesome! btw I did something that I believe is simmilar to that balsamic vinager syrup you tasted in seattle on a recent episode. It turned out AWESOME. Now, I don't know if it tasted the same b/c I've never been to Seattle but it was great if I do say so myself!
STOP WATCHING THIS SPARKLES!
