For those of you that are disturbed by this lobster's death.

You can actually throw the guy in the freezer briefly to knock the lobster out before killing it. This allows for an essentially unconscious death.

Either way, you have to kill it somehow, and the method in the video is the quickest. I don't recommend freezing the lobster to death, as chances are this will decrease the quality of the meat.
