Hello I have a vxl3s esc and I'm running my 7 cell stock battery and the esc burnt out. Can it be because my battry voltage is much higher then 8.4.? It says it's 10.9v and more? Thanks

@MXSHOWTIME007 the vxl3s is a shitty esc usually if you used it more than 3 times and it dint int blow its good but its a shitty esc

@TheRclightning Yeah they can fry but Traxxas warranty is great. Personally one of the best and only waterproof BL ecs's out there. Had 5 of these for 3 years with no problems.

@MXSHOWTIME007 No that esc can handle it and that's no load voltage. Check the voltage when the pack is plugged in and motor spinning you'll see it drops quickly. Might just have a bad one. Traxxas has great support.

i actually never knew they made buggies... but traxxas.... a 2wd buggy.. no fun in my opinion. buggies need to be 4wd. i would say that thing with paddles on the rear is the best choice of driving. But i messaged traxxas they should make some more race inpired vehicles.. it seems like they are into racing on real scale cars but when it comes to RC almost everything they make is just for bashing. so i would really like to see traxxas get into racing

Meh, I dont like the bandit much. My friend had one and it isnt that durable and every time he drives it the front end breaks. Plus our local hobbytown refuses to carry them because they dont like them so much. So he has to order parts from tower hobbies.

@MrCoolcarson oh the brushless (vxl) is faster and lower matience but more expensive the brushed i think more torque and a lot cheaper than the vxl up to $130 and but the motor will die quickly(motor)

well on my slash the brushed went out in 2 weeks, brushless usually does have more power, i have the dynamite fuse short course on mine but the bandit is much lighter in the front and hte brushless is a lot better for wheelies and such and speed
