it honestly does sound like the subs getting a bit to much power on the initial hit, sounds like the sub is bottoming out through the hit for a split second, all in all good work your hot and it sounds great other than that, i would try backing down the amp a bit and see if it goes away, it could be a number of things but thats the most familiar sound to me, although it could just be part of the box making the rattling too but nice sub, your hot and good luck with future projects!

@fritosaregood haha agreed. wayne2ooo8 be's total bassnoob. i changed the tune on my box from 29hz to 36hz and my excursion on lows went from 3.5-4inches down to about 2.5. if you really wanna see how much a sub can move, either go free air, or put it in a sealed box.
