funny tho... my father has owned 3 chrysler vehicles in his life time, a 1968 Dodge Charger, never broke down, near 400,000km when he sold it. then he bought a Jeep comanche in 1988... never broke down, burnt about a little oil. sold it in 2001 to a farm @ over 450,000km on it.
now he drives a 2000 dodge Dakota, over 350,000km and counting. all chrysler built vehicles.

@patwwe ???? The new Jeep is coming with the same 392 in the Chally its a 6.4L for clarification so no mis-info goes around. And its not as easy as putting a blower/intake/exhaust since the new 6.4 and even the 5.7 Hemis all have super encrypted PCM's and will not be able to be tuned for a little while. Guys are working on it but no reliable source has been able to crack Chryslers coding I think its like 128hex key or something crazy. So yeah w/o a tune not much can be done for big gains :/

You got it wrong, the JEEP SRT8 is NOT supercharged, the 6.1 HEMI is a NA engine produce 425hp and better fuel efficiency than the ML63 AMG. And yes the ML63 is a NA engine, its AMG so i automaticly thought it was superchargerd...

I dont think the ML won, the Jeep clearly backs off after about 9 or 10 seconds on the power, hence he broke 100mph, and thought - proven his point.
It could be possible the ML would be better from 100 to the 155 limiter as ML has a 7 speed transmission which in theory will mean closer ratios and better high end acceleration.
But honestly, it's clear off the line and beyond 60mph, the Jeep hammered the Merc.
I'd like to see the Jeep, Cayenne Turbo, and the ML63 square off against each other. It really doesn't matter because I'd rather drive the Jeep any day instead of these almost $100K SUVs.
@ddog0804 evotech x5M beemer at 630HP does or the tuned mercedez g55 at 650HP. The tuned g55 is scary fast for a g wagon, and has great traction, but I wouldn't feel safe in any of these cars... but nothing I've seen seems to beat the brabus moded glk 350 v12 at 750HP.

Aside from the fact that the Jeep tore the MB out of the hole, the Jeep had the advantage the entire time. The only time the MB caught up is probably when the Jeep let off the gas and then the video cuts out.

I watched this because I'm considering buying a Jeep SRT8 and I was definitely rooting for this one to win... but I have to say this looks like a win for the ML to me. When 2 cars are evenly matched and one gets the jump like this jeep did, it should continue to pull away but the ML reeled it in... Either way my Veyron would destroy both of these ;-)

You got it wrong, the JEEP SRT8 is NOT supercharged, the 6.1 HEMI is a NA engine produce 425hp and better fuel efficiency than the ML63 AMG. And yes the ML63 is a NA engine, its AMG so i automaticly thought it was superchargerd...

I dont think the ML won, the Jeep clearly backs off after about 9 or 10 seconds on the power, hence he broke 100mph, and thought - proven his point.
It could be possible the ML would be better from 100 to the 155 limiter as ML has a 7 speed transmission which in theory will mean closer ratios and better high end acceleration.
But honestly, it's clear off the line and beyond 60mph, the Jeep hammered the Merc.

@ddog0804 evotech x5M beemer at 630HP does or the tuned mercedez g55 at 650HP. The tuned g55 is scary fast for a g wagon, and has great traction, but I wouldn't feel safe in any of these cars... but nothing I've seen seems to beat the brabus moded glk 350 v12 at 750HP.
