nice i'm sure this guy is way better than me but i always tap the shoulder to bait the reach. i do this to kids all the time "a little different" even if they know its coming it still works. great move!!
and to my prior comment, also I add wrestle friends, especially if they're interested in wrestling too, and try the moves you learned on the matches or vids and learn a lot about what you guys can and cant do and you very well may have a very successfull JV freshmen year, with the proper hard work of course.
I think(random thought) anyone who is interested in wrestling but never did it before and is an incoming freshmen, should workout alot and get in shape. Cirquit training, lots of cardio, core strength, balance, flexability, full body strength, will be nessecary before hitting the mat. Spares you a lot of potential pain and suffering when you can take the conditioning well cause you've already been doing it. Also, watch wrestling vids and matches and look at every move with alot of technicality.
This is a mis-directional shot only because that is what a super duck is, a mis-direction move that sets up a duck with the fake for a single and then the windmill arm motion to secure the duck under as the corner is being cut to secure the takedown.
what aspects am i missing? i try to do this but my initial shot is stopped because he just posts his hands on my shoulders. so i can never hane any penetration. i dont understand.
its a set up the first intial shot is a fake, so it should not matter but if they're keeping thier hands on yer should there is plenty of other ways to get a duck under, what worked for me is locking up pulling the elbow then poppin it up. but what this guy is showing is a fake shot duck under.
@Ieatbabyseals plz explain to me how the opponent jus fall over like that, how come they dont jus sprawl, i mean this seem like an excellent move but it jus seem too good to be real cuz its so simple n works so well
nahh not enough pressure on the head for the ankle pick maybe u could get it on a scrub. this move is really effective wish I was good at when i wrestled works in grappling for me.
i hate people that tries to do super duck when they can't

Search "super duck wrestling" and choose the top video... it shows it several times in slow motion working in real competition.
jaytonbye 2 years ago
Gotta move faster; this is a speed/finesse move. You need to be able to beat his hands.
wrestle4life234 2 years ago
@guthixpk3rx
If you want to pull it off you got to hustle. Guy shouldn't even know you're doing a super duck he should think you're taking a shot at his back leg.

@blakTiGGeRXXX
I've hit this probably 6 or 7 times in HS competition.
You're shooting any type of straight single (I use an ankle pick).
As you take your shot you rotate your head from the side its on to the other side, also windmill your arms (like they do in the video).
They fall because they do sprawl, they think you're shooting a single leg but right as they sprawl you cut the corner really hard to get around them.
Its almost like a straight single to a sweep single but delayed.
TheSecondRush 1 year ago
@blakTiGGeRXXX You always cut the corner even if they do sprawl. It's basically a single leg cept that you got them to commit the the first move.
BF1 1 year ago
@blakTiGGeRXXX Here is a kid who does it repeatedly in competion. It looks like this in real time.
Type in SuperDuck with the capital D and it will come up.

Its smart. Your catching your opponent off guard
clutter4life386 2 years ago
wow if he would have caught the ankle on that first one forshire takedown

Wow thats an amazingly fast move. Great technique and could easily be applied to a jiu jitsu attack.
