Great choices, I haven't seen a few of these, but I've seen quite a few :D
Also, I don't know why no one has made a video of those japanese videos, Spirited Away was an amazing movie, in fact all the videos that man made are off the charts.
10. The lion King 9. Cinderella 8. Beauty and the beast 7. The Little mermaid 6. alladin 5. Alice In Wonderland 4. Pocahontas 3. Hercules 2. The Emperor's new groove 1. MULAN!!
Mulan is epic, I love to watch it over and over again, its just so good :D
How do you expect kids to listen to their parents... Tarzan lives half naked, Cinderella comes back home at midnight, Pinocchio lies all the time, Aladdin is the king of thieves, Batman drives at 320 KM/h, Sleeping beauty is lazy, and Snow white lives with 7 guys. We shouldn’t be surprised when kids misbehave! They get it from their story books..., haha copy and past this on disney story videos if you laughed :D
My favorites list :) 10. Emperor's New Groove 9. Tangled 8. Pocahontas 7. Hercules 6. The Little Mermaid 5. The Hunchback of Notre Dame 4. Mulan 3. Beauty and the Beast 2. Aladdin 1. THE LION KING ;)
My list is: 1: Hunchback of Notre Dame 2: Brother Bear 3: Mulan 4: Emperor's New Groove 5: Lion King 1 and 2 (though I prefer 2) 6: Beauty and the Beast 7: Cinderella 8: The Aristocats 9: Fantasia 2000 10: Alice in Wonderland (old one) That's my opinion :)
Wow, you've put a few of my favourite films there! To me the best is "The Lion King". Then "Mulan", "Pocahontas", "The lion king 2", "Aladdin". I also love "Tarzan" and "The Aristocats".
i have to do it, i know its lame, but here goes, ready krunk, pull the lever, wrong lever, why do i even have that lever, i know lame, but i loved that movie, and still nearly piss myself when i watch it.
omg. I hated the goofy movie. IDK y but i just always turned it off. One time my mom made me watch it and I cried. Yeah...IDK what was wrong with me....oh gosh....lion king. That was alright. let me see if my fav is on ur list. Oh! Mulan was good too! she was like my number 2 or 3. Eww....emperor? Y? #1....don't tell me. oh god! Aladin? Yuck. It was aight.
Goofy Movie was indeed a funny movie, but I wouldn't count it on my list unless I were to do a free range Disney List. Oh, and I missed out on the movie in theatres too. I was 5, but I saw Toy Story instead. Lion King: First movie I remember seeing in theaters. My personal favorite animated film of all time. I was 8 when I saw Mulan, and I also thought it was pretty funny. Missed Emperor's, but still laughed at it. Aladdin...don't remember if I saw it in theaters, but it's kinda meh.
@wearefictional lol me too. i was so glad i posted the video because i found other people who also thought this movie was awesome and underrated! even when i would talk about it when i was younger, my friends would look at me like i was an idiot because they never heard or seen it. so, what, some 17 years later, i find people who liked it too lol :).
@wearefictional I LIKE A GOOFY MOVIE TOO! when i was 5 i watched it all day everyday for a month but then my parents confenscated it now i watch it once every other day
@foreverbehere1 for me, it was the first time seeing a princess as a minority. so aladdin will always be extremely special to me in that aspect. but i personally love the movie, i think it was nicely done. i don't expect everyone to agree which is why i encourage people to voice their opinions. so what would be your top 10 list?
yes i am fully aware of that and completely agree with your statement. as i keep stating, this list has nothing to do with what i think/feel are the "best" disney movies of all time because this entire list would be completely different. please refer to my longwinded response on classicdisaster09's comment (below this one).
i agree 1000000000000000000% there is and never will be a movie as good as the lion king, and that goes for all the lion king movies! I <3 LION KING!!!
yes i do total agree (except for aladdin). like i keep saying, this list has nothing to do with what i think is the best disney movie, as this list would be constructed completely differently. these are just my top 10, in no particular order except aladdin. that one is my definite number 1 :). but i need to redo this list anyway because one of my faves isn't on here: oliver & co.
in america, it's lion king, lion king 2, and lion king 1 1/2 but in some countries instead of calling it lion king 1 1/2 they call it lion king 3 because it came after lion king 2
yes i do total agree (except for aladdin). like i keep saying, this list has nothing to do with what i think is the best disney movie, as this list would be constructed completely differently. these are just my top 10, in no particular order except aladdin. that one is my definite number 1 :). but i need to redo this list anyway because one of my faves isn't on here: oliver & co. also pocahontas wouldn't have been on here.
ok so ever had those moments when you're so down, you just wanted to laugh? you didn't wanna think about anything, you just wanted to forget? well that's what emperor's did for me. i was in a low place when i first saw this movie. all the other movies had a love theme to them and i wasn't in the mood to see that lol. with emperor's, i just laughed. i didn't have to think about anything. that is not to say that i think this is one of disney's best movies (this list has nothing to do with...)
(being the "best" of all). if it were, this list would be totally different ;). these movies just hold a special place in my heart/life and emperor's was different enough, for me, to put on this list. with the exception of aladdin, none of these movies stay in the designated slots they're in on this video. in addition, pocahontas wouldn't have been on here had i found footage on oliver and co. at the time :).
Like you said, it usually depends on my mood. But my top three includes Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan. Though Beauty and the Beast is my definate #1, I can't figure out whether I love Mulan or Aladdin more :/ It's a tie between those two..
well for this list i did strictly disney. toy story falls under disney and pixar, so i didn't count it here since there's a whole slew of disney/pixar movies. i wanted to make a list separate for those. but i do really love toy story and look forward to the third one ;).
gotta love business 101 ;). everything's about generating the "maximum profit" of items so if the business thinks simba being a fluffy pink kitty would get them more money, they'll change it lol. also everything's about not pissing off certain groups. i don't know what change they made to the movie (feel free to tell me), but something tells me the type of change probably is to fulfill one of those two points.
oops, pushed the button before i was finished lol. anyway, thanks for watching and i'm glad you enjoyed the video. what would your top 10 be? i'm always interested in knowing other people's choices too.
i really didn't get into tarzan and brother bear that much. not my cup of tea ;). there is one i would have added if i had footage of it at the time and that is oliver & co. (which would have replaced pocahontas). but this list isn't THE top 10 disney movies, just MY top 10 as my taste is going to be different than others :). i'm always up to hearing other people's opinions, whether i agree or not. so what are YOUR top 10?
to answer your other question, i use sony vegas to make videos ;).
cool video. it's hard to dissagree with anything here cuz they're all great movies. when well the modern disney wake up?! i think emporers new groove was pretty fun and the t.v. series kind of ruined it.
everything's for profit now, not what the viewers want...and it's sad really. we're TOLD what to like rather than choose from a variety of shows and pick what we like. everything's so cookie-cut similar, it's sickening. and the other part is when corporations make big money off one thing and capitalize it until they're beating a dead horse (and even then they don't stop). "modern" tv makes me sick sometimes :(.
i totally thought the same thing the first time i saw it too. it truly is one of the most underrated disney movies out there (check some of my other comments to see my tirade about the marketing of this movie lol). but seriously, i always say when people see it for the first time, they'll love it. now the sequel however...
1 The Lion King1, 1 1/2, and 2 2 Ponochio 3 Aristocats 4 Cinderella 5 Beauty And The Beast 6 Bambi 7 Pocahontas 8 Oliver And Company 9 101 Dalmations 10 Peter Pan The list goes on as when Disney was alive they produced over 300 classics. Like in The Lion King were Simba was born to be king untill Scar and the hyenas chased him away. Years later he find out what happend and goes back to fight for whats right. That is simular to whats going on with Disney over the past 100 years.
awesome list! i still have yet to see lion king 2 all the way through (i saw part of it on ABC once, and you're talking network tv so they edited a lot of it for time slot purposes...which sucks). anyway, referring to your earlier comment...gotta love corporate america where our motto is "who gives a diggity dog doo about the consumer as long as we're pizz-aid" lol. not that i'm siding with them, but i do understand about making a quick buck with the contrived than taking a risk on the unknown.
Thats the same with me. First time I saw The Lion King was when I was little. Then I didn't put attention to it. In 6th grade I saw The Lion King 1 1/2 and i became intrested. After I bought the original at Blockbuster for 20$, I got into The Lion King, I never saw The Lion King 2. All the way. Coinsidentialy the scene with the fire in the grasslands was were I got interupted by things. It wasn't untill 1 year later I saw it all the way through. Then in 06 discovered Timon and Pumba show.
I was in school when they did that, so I don't know. All I know is it was some time in 07. I get the impression they canceled Timon and Pumba at the same time disney put The Lion King in the Vault. Their is a Disney movies list website, but it only shows info on when the movie came out, the actors, etc. And doesn't show how long untill a movie is released from the Vault. If their going to keep The Lion King in the Vault they should have a timer on their web site .
It would be nice if Disney got their heads together. Their minds have been rotting with the Hanna Montana, High School Musical and the other stuff they come out with. I wish upon a star that Disney gets a clue in their minds of what it take to make a reel movie. I mean if they can't produce good movies like they used to why do they even bother making movies at all.
Just them waisting their money that could of gone into more classics.
lol oh well thank you :). it wasn't easy picking my top 10, i mean this list changes depending on my mood with the exception of maybe the top 3. if i had had footage of oliver and co. available at the time, pocahontas wouldn't have been on this list (in my top 20 yes, but not top 10 per se).
very good video, 5 stars my fav 10; 1.lion king the rest in random order. -robin hood -hunchback -oliver and co -101 dalmatians -hercules -jungle book -mulan -peter pan -pocahontas almost impossible to make a choise with so many good movies
hmm 1-- lion king 2-- lion king 2 3-- Tarzan 4-- Aladdin 5--Hercules 6-- peter pan 7-- beauty and the beast 8-- A bug's life 9-- hunchback of notre dame 10--mulan
you know...i have yet to see the lion king 2 all the way through. i saw part of it on network tv (ABC) a long time ago, but that was the only time. you're another one who mentioned hunchback...another one i need to see!!!
mine? well, in no particular order: lion king mulan tarzan fox and the hound 101 dalmatians (animated, not the live-action movie) spirit brother bear finding nemo ratatouille *after several minutes of thinking and checking wiki for more ideas* idk... Bolt? Really, Bolt and ratatouille aren't my "super fav ones" but I can't think of anything else, although I liked more Disney movies, that's for sure, however, those 8 are my very favourite forever C:
i know what ya mean, pocahontas isn't exactly in my top 10. top 15 maybe, but i couldn't (at the time) find footage for oliver & company. LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! but the rest of them are my definite top...9 lol. and i agree with you, the animated 101 dalmatians is better than the live-action.
My top ten disney movies are: 10. 101 Dalmations 9. The Emperor's New Groove 8. Tarzan 7. Lion King 6. Beauty and the Beast 5. Lady and the Tramp 4. Aladdin 3. Little Mermaid 2. Hercules 1. Mulan
lol it probably would have been my number one if they didn't kill mufasa. nah i'm kidding :). but i do love lion king, these kinds of lists are hard to do because some of these movies could switch positions depending on my mood, you know?
Aladdin as your number one? Really? I love the movie but it's such a classic example of Disney completely messing with their source work. Aladdin is a Persian myth. Sure it's part of Arab culture as well but it shouldn't take place there. Also why do they call the Djinn "Genie" which is the plural form? There is only one of them.
To me Aladdin has some good songs, a great villain but to many silly little mess ups to be great.
well as a kid, you're not thinking about historical or anecdotal accuracy :). besides, disney has gotten all kinds of things messed/inaccurate for decades. also, i'm not saying aladdin is "great," just my favorite. i love it because of other reasons than social accuracy, because you're right. i totally agree with you on how disney messed up source work. and then kids absorb the inaccuracies and apply them to life. but i love the animation, the characters...so many things.
i always encourage others' opinions :). there's nothing wrong with you and i having different opinions, right? feel free to tell me your top 10 fave disney movies (i won't be mad)!
Sweet list. I don't agree with A Goofy Movie but I guess that's just me. I am more of a Hunchback of Notredame (OMG), Lion King, Mulan and Pocahontas person!!
Great choices, I haven't seen a few of these, but I've seen quite a few :D
Also, I don't know why no one has made a video of those japanese videos, Spirited Away was an amazing movie, in fact all the videos that man made are off the charts.

well for this list i did strictly disney. toy story falls under disney and pixar, so i didn't count it here since there's a whole slew of disney/pixar movies. i wanted to make a list separate for those. but i do really love toy story and look forward to the third one ;).
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
Hey, excellent number 1 choice and good song choice I memorized the whole song. haha...
NickWilliam89 2 years ago
lol one of my favorite songs from the movie too ;).
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
I think they ruined The Lion King by changing it, i know it was a little change but i loved the old vertion and they don't even have that available.
pyromaiden 2 years ago
I just donno why they insist on changing it at all just to put it on DVD, when the original was great to begin with.
Great videos, and enjoyed to see what someone elses fave's are.
pyromaiden 2 years ago
gotta love business 101 ;). everything's about generating the "maximum profit" of items so if the business thinks simba being a fluffy pink kitty would get them more money, they'll change it lol. also everything's about not pissing off certain groups. i don't know what change they made to the movie (feel free to tell me), but something tells me the type of change probably is to fulfill one of those two points.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
oops, pushed the button before i was finished lol. anyway, thanks for watching and i'm glad you enjoyed the video. what would your top 10 be? i'm always interested in knowing other people's choices too.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
i think you forget some really special films.
i love TARZAN and BROTHER BEAR. They have some of the best music.
i would say the top5 are lion king, mulan, pocahontas, tarzen brother bear
i have another question. with wich programm did you made your movie? can you tell it
lalalaclp 2 years ago
i really didn't get into tarzan and brother bear that much. not my cup of tea ;). there is one i would have added if i had footage of it at the time and that is oliver & co. (which would have replaced pocahontas). but this list isn't THE top 10 disney movies, just MY top 10 as my taste is going to be different than others :). i'm always up to hearing other people's opinions, whether i agree or not. so what are YOUR top 10?
to answer your other question, i use sony vegas to make videos ;).
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
what did they change in Lion King??
Mongoose015 2 years ago
I think th ey added a brand new song and took away an old one but not 100% sure what it was, or may of been they aded something new.
pyromaiden 2 years ago

They added a new song called Zazoo's Morning Report. Honestly, I prefer the original Lion King without that song...

thank you :). and thank you for watching.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
cool video. it's hard to dissagree with anything here cuz they're all great movies. when well the modern disney wake up?! i think emporers new groove was pretty fun and the t.v. series kind of ruined it.
danhabsfan9 2 years ago
everything's for profit now, not what the viewers want...and it's sad really. we're TOLD what to like rather than choose from a variety of shows and pick what we like. everything's so cookie-cut similar, it's sickening. and the other part is when corporations make big money off one thing and capitalize it until they're beating a dead horse (and even then they don't stop). "modern" tv makes me sick sometimes :(.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
I saw A Goofy Movie for the first time the other day and its definately one of the most underrated, i love it!!
Mongoose015 2 years ago
i totally thought the same thing the first time i saw it too. it truly is one of the most underrated disney movies out there (check some of my other comments to see my tirade about the marketing of this movie lol). but seriously, i always say when people see it for the first time, they'll love it. now the sequel however...
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
The sequel to A Goofy Movie had a really good concept but it was rubbish..

awesome list! i still have yet to see lion king 2 all the way through (i saw part of it on ABC once, and you're talking network tv so they edited a lot of it for time slot purposes...which sucks). anyway, referring to your earlier comment...gotta love corporate america where our motto is "who gives a diggity dog doo about the consumer as long as we're pizz-aid" lol. not that i'm siding with them, but i do understand about making a quick buck with the contrived than taking a risk on the unknown.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
Thats the same with me. First time I saw The Lion King was when I was little. Then I didn't put attention to it. In 6th grade I saw The Lion King 1 1/2 and i became intrested. After I bought the original at Blockbuster for 20$, I got into The Lion King, I never saw The Lion King 2. All the way. Coinsidentialy the scene with the fire in the grasslands was were I got interupted by things. It wasn't untill 1 year later I saw it all the way through. Then in 06 discovered Timon and Pumba show.
mckTXaws101 2 years ago
i used to watch the timon and pumba show too, back when disney had such better shows lol. i remember getting mad when it got cancelled!
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
I was in school when they did that, so I don't know. All I know is it was some time in 07. I get the impression they canceled Timon and Pumba at the same time disney put The Lion King in the Vault. Their is a Disney movies list website, but it only shows info on when the movie came out, the actors, etc. And doesn't show how long untill a movie is released from the Vault. If their going to keep The Lion King in the Vault they should have a timer on their web site .
mckTXaws101 2 years ago
It would be nice if Disney got their heads together. Their minds have been rotting with the Hanna Montana, High School Musical and the other stuff they come out with. I wish upon a star that Disney gets a clue in their minds of what it take to make a reel movie. I mean if they can't produce good movies like they used to why do they even bother making movies at all.
Just them waisting their money that could of gone into more classics.
mckTXaws101 2 years ago
omg, you have great taste. i personally woud've switched 3 and 2 and also 10 and 9 but other than that great list :)
dramagirl424 2 years ago
lol oh well thank you :). it wasn't easy picking my top 10, i mean this list changes depending on my mood with the exception of maybe the top 3. if i had had footage of oliver and co. available at the time, pocahontas wouldn't have been on this list (in my top 20 yes, but not top 10 per se).
cabbitness1983 2 years ago

cabbitness1983 2 years ago
eda1102 2 years ago
i know what ya mean, pocahontas isn't exactly in my top 10. top 15 maybe, but i couldn't (at the time) find footage for oliver & company. LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! but the rest of them are my definite top...9 lol. and i agree with you, the animated 101 dalmatians is better than the live-action.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago

cabbitness1983 2 years ago
Hehe, I think The Lion King should be number one...in my opinion :)
musicluver85 2 years ago
lol it probably would have been my number one if they didn't kill mufasa. nah i'm kidding :). but i do love lion king, these kinds of lists are hard to do because some of these movies could switch positions depending on my mood, you know?
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
I agree! But still I love Aladdin
calounee 2 years ago
Aladdin as your number one? Really? I love the movie but it's such a classic example of Disney completely messing with their source work. Aladdin is a Persian myth. Sure it's part of Arab culture as well but it shouldn't take place there. Also why do they call the Djinn "Genie" which is the plural form? There is only one of them.
To me Aladdin has some good songs, a great villain but to many silly little mess ups to be great.
Arikata 2 years ago
well as a kid, you're not thinking about historical or anecdotal accuracy :). besides, disney has gotten all kinds of things messed/inaccurate for decades. also, i'm not saying aladdin is "great," just my favorite. i love it because of other reasons than social accuracy, because you're right. i totally agree with you on how disney messed up source work. and then kids absorb the inaccuracies and apply them to life. but i love the animation, the characters...so many things.
cabbitness1983 2 years ago
I totally agree with you on Aladdin being the best. I'm an Arab too. But nooooo worries I was born and raised in America I'm not a terrorist!!

Noel373 2 years ago 6
OMG! The Hunchback of Notre Dame is an amazing movie. One of Disneys best I think.
