You can buy DERMAdoctor's Poetry in Lotion at Sephora, Ulta, or Nordstrom's online. It is the highest concentrate of Retin A available on the market, it's a fab product that WORKS. Some Dermatologists carry it in their offices. But I bought it at Sephora. Love what it has done for my skin and will never be without!!
@gabiyankee100 -I got mine from a Candian Pharmacy which ships it from India, but its the real thing. It only cost $2.90 a tube. You have to be careful with Retin-A in African Americans as its thins your skin out especially if your older which leaves the skin more prone to aging.
Great vid!!!!! As a guy this helps too! Using common sense to the other comments on cancer risk...um maybe that's why most cremes say to wear overnight and wash in the morning :/ ijs & along with this helpful video I think how you take care of yourself plays an important part and finding out genetic history. Thanks again!
Retinol is one that works. Unfortunately you can't compare the percentage of Retinol in nonprescription retinol products...because they don't have to put the percentage. So watch out folks for products that claim to have a retinoid and actually have just a tiny precentage so they say that. I think it's reasonable to go with a well known magazines' tested recommendations because of this...presumably the ones that work best would have enough retinol in them
@johalieb1 if you buy professional products from a beauty salon such as dermalogica or MD formulations etc these high end professional skin care companies actual list the percentage on the packaging (: if not the esthitican can actually tell you what the percentage is as they have been trained in whats in the product, how to use, how to sel, benefits etc
Hey Girls.Last time I bought a very high antioxidant product was-bora-bora.I only saw it in Walgreens and they created a trial set with cleanser, night cream day cream etc.The trial box was almost enough for a month and only cost like 25 dollars. Everybody was amazed how fresh I looked.I might thinking to mix that bora bora with some cream-you suggested.
Isn't Vitamin A bad for skin? Based on EWG.org website Retinol (Vitamin A ) causes Cancer, Developmental/reproductive toxicity, Organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), Biochemical or cellular level changes, Use restrictions. It is scored 8!!!!!!!! out of 10. I would stay away from it. Make some natural serums with Vitamin C in it, your skin will be happier
You don't have to get straight to the point. I like hearing little stories of a person's experiences. It helps us to get to know you a bit. Love your video and advise. Keep up the good work.
I just bought a retinol cream from iherb.com,it is called ''retinola 1%''.I use it just before going to bed, because has an orange color.has really good reviews.after applying just two times I noticed an improvement on my skin.I'll let you know after couple weeks if will work.
If you'll order from iherb.com , use cod KEB068 for 5 $ off on your first purchase.they give fast delivery as well
Retinol is the only medically recognised topical treatment for ageing skin .the prescribed one comes in different strengths and also gels and cream . I've used Tazorac for three years and get it prescribed . Its incredible and my skin looks 10 year younger . It makes you a bit flaky when you start using it but after a few weeks it settles. You must try it !!! It's easy to get it on prescription in the UK and very cheap
I disagree with the person who tells you to get straight to the point! Great video and your skin is absolutely flawless! Perhaps you should be sharing your skin care routine!! X
please try to go right to the point, you talk about uninteresting things like how beautiful the hotell was , etc. you should practice before posting a video, people gets tired of hearing a lot of crap before it start to get interesting.
Thanks for the info. I was thinking of trying the retin-a micro. Oh i wish that you knew the name of the dermo as I moved to atlanta not long ago and have been searching for an african american dermotologist; but great info!!

Man, I wish I was there because I wanted to ask about that. I thought Vitamin A was cancer-causing or maybe only when it is in sunscreen.

@Alenushka7 thats not when its used topically. when you take too much vitamin a pills then that would be the case.
