My system is Win7-x86(32-bit), and so I did not install the x64-based patch. After googling, I found someone mentioned that disabling Intel VT-d virtualization in BIOS can fix the problem. I tried and so far so good.
@SFseis I did solve the problem, it had nothing to do with hardware but rather a software problem. All i had to do was install "Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB976264)" and voila, the problem was solved.

@ns7777 good to know, although i have no problems whatsoever with VT-d enabled.

Maybe it has to do with flexing... it's probably not the screen but the graphics card I'd say. Have you solved the problem yet?
