  • dude become a health teacher.

  • @MFRealFlow I do trainings like these in my job currently!

  • @AdR1aN43 Losing fat is all about being in a caloric deficit. You could eat healthy foods all day, but if you're eating more than your body needs it's going to store that extra food as fat. I have a few videos on gaining and losing weight, it's all about manipulating your intake in a way where you can either gain or lose weight in a controlled process, thus avoiding losing muscle or gaining too much fat.

  • @CampbellFitness what if i do slow cardio to target fat?

  • @AdR1aN43 Cardio will help put you in a caloric deficit by making your body "need" more calories than it would normally. It honestly all comes down to calories in vs calories out.

  • @CampbellFitness i wana add size to my arms. 2 r 3 inches. my most lagging bodypart. how would i go about doing this? hit them twice? give em there own day? the split im moving onto 2morrow after doing a variation of PHAT for the last 6 weeks is Dorian Yates blood n guts. theres only 4 total sets for biceps n 4 total sets for triceps hitting each once. bis is with chest n tris with shoulders. first set of each excersize is 10 to 12 reps not to failure n second set is 6 to 8 r 8 to 10 to failure!

  • @AdR1aN43 Based off of what we've talked about in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if you're over training your arms. 2-3 inches is a huge amount of growth. Your goals should be more realistic up front. If you can add an inch on to your arms in a year then you've succeeded.

  • @CampbellFitness ya i was undertraining em all summer n overtraining em for last 6 weeks. my new program has bis once a week n tric once a week paired with a larger muscle group

  • @AdR1aN43 That's something I can get more on board with. You're just going to have to give it time. Like I said, if you can add an inch on your arms over the course of a year, you're doing good.

  • @CampbellFitness ok x.

i just got back from gym n did 1st day of new program n its complete shit. nmot intense at all.

so i want to know what u think wud be the best split for me for the next 6 to 8 weeks.

main goal is bigger arms n second is v taper look. i know i wont achieve it in 8 weeks but put me in the right direction. whats the best way to achieve this

is ur beggining bodybuilding split ok to do but just making it more intense?i wont bother u with split advice nemore after this ;0

  • @AdR1aN43 The Yates workout? It's a bit tough b/c the first 2 sets are kind of looked at as warm up sets and the third you're supposed to go all out til failure. You can use the beginning bodybuilding one I have, but you need to make sure your diet is in check as well.

  • @CampbellFitness my diet is fine:) but should i make ur routine tougher n more intense by going to failure. if i go to failure n rest 2 mins i can usually gwt the same reps again r maybe 1 less. eg;if i do incline dumbell press to failure. set 1=10 reps 2=10 reps 3 = 9 reps. also i could do forced reps..i tell u cus i saw ur vid sayin not to go to failure but i feel workout isnt done unless i go to failure. waitin for arms day;)

  • @AdR1aN43 Going to failure is your choice. Intensity varies on the person. I have people train to me and although we don't go to failure much, by the end of the workouts they can't move.

  • @CampbellFitness forgot to say my main 2 goals r 1;bigger arms and 2; vtaper

best way to get em.arms on its own i know. lateral raises? pullups?

  • dont be sorry this fucking helped a lot and u are the man. i just found you tonight and this goal setting video helped me a ton. keep up the vids man.

  • @ilikeamp Thanks for the support!

  • By the way I'm 5'4 163lbs. Just want to get midsection flat but ik I can't spot reduce. Once midsection is gone I actually want to bulk up my thighs, rip my back, n arms leaner but ripped also. Pls advise me I'm doing this on my own

  • @mrzrollins How many calories are you taking in under your maintenance calories?

  • Hi. I've been on my weight journey for 1yr and 5days. Dropped 6pants sizes lost 30lbs. But I feel I still haven't achieved what I want. I want to lose bout 3-5inches n my mid section by Sept. I workout 5-6days week most of the time twice daily cardio/Wt. Training. Idk what I'm doing wrong n my diet. I do eat healthy but ik not frequent enough. And I dnt drink enough water. Pls help Bcuz Idk what I should be eating. From what I've read I should be eating a protein, carb, veggie, water every meal

  • is it ok if im taking oxy elite pro,con crete creatine and c4 all before my workout obviously not at the same time but all in the same hour or so

  • @iDespicable you cannot stack supplement with common nutrients like oxy elite pro and jack3d(pre work out) because both of them have caffeine

  • My MMA COach wants me to gain around 15 pounds of muscle so i can find a fight when i start fighting i weighed 125.6 after training today how could i do this?

  • @93msheen 15 lbs of muscle is a lot. I'd suggest really taking a look at your diet. If you're doing a lot of training, chances are you're burning a ton of calories, you need to eat even more in order to grow.

  • @CampbellFitness ok ill try it thanks for the help bro i really appreciate it!!, more people need to respond to others questions like u

  • @93msheen How many calories are you taking in a day now?

  • @CampbellFitness around 1800 if i eat normal but when im busy its hard for me to eat on my time sched i mean im 5 3 nd 125 pounds rite now but i dnt want to gain bad weight

  • @CampbellFitness hey i just turned 17 n have been weight training for 11 months. i was very skinny n i put on 23 pounds n got a lot stronger n bigger than i was. but i also put on fat and i want to get rid of it but im still kinda thin so i dnt wana lose muscle. since june1st i stopped eating fastfood n all bad food but it hasnt made much difference . i do still eat a lot but all good food(mainly protei. is interval training the best way r what.? • real nice vid man. trying to figure out a way to fit a diet/workout schedule in with work right now. work 12 hour shifts from 11 in the morning to 11 at night so idk what i can do.. any suggestions?

  • @cbowes3 That's a long day. Depending on what you have available to you and when you wake up you could do it first thing in the morning, or you could do it right when you get out of work. Personally I'd do it in the morning b/c I feel like I'd have no energy after working that long.

  • @CampbellFitness yeah they don't let us bring food or i'd bring prepared meals with me so i can only eat morning, around 5 on lunch break and when i get home. i'll try to work something out, thanks for the advice!

  • best. advice. ever. lol k i wasn't REALISTIC with that but that was some pretty damn good advice!

  • @shotbboy Haha nice, thanks

  • That's your best video by far. And I've watched almost of your videos. I guess all of your work comes down to this. Really motivational indeed Brandon! Congrats and thank you bro!

  • @Fernandohayabusa Thanks! I can ramble sometimes but glad you liked it.

  • i really agree with what you said in this video. ever since i started i had way too high of expectations/goals for myself and it was heartbreaking when i couldn't achieve them. u really have to celebrate the little gains/achievements. good info man!

  • @blazersfan7 Awesome, thanks!

  • Good video but the title is misleading...it should be titled something like "setting goals"....i thought this video is on how to gain muscle and lose fat...

  • @0680496 I forgot that I had changed it to see if the title made a difference on view count. I switched it back. Thanks for watching.

  • Youre extremely intelligent... you gotta post more videos like this.

  • @Yipachu Thanks, will do.

  • Wow thanks bro....you've broken it down in simpler terms! Posting this on my facebook page...so it can help others as well. Thanks man and yes more vids like this would be great!

  • @MrDextacy Awesome dude, thanks!

  • Hey did you ever lose your results after you stopped taking con cret?

  • @FieldingFitness I've been able to keep all my strength gains so far.

  • great video. what kind of goals do you think i should set? i'm not sure what to expect in a month. im about to start going to the gym and ive been doing p90x and have done a lot of research. especially with bulking up and getting ready for summer its hard to find goals that fit exactly what i'm looking for. maybe try going 20 pounds heavier in my bench press? ive only tried once and i did 6 reps of 95 pretty bad but everybodys gotta start somewhere

  • @madspeed7 First off don't ever say what you're doing for weights is bad. Everyone has to start somewhere. So props to you for trying to get better. I'd set short term goals of increasing your bench by a certain number as well as looking to improve the amount of reps you can do with 95lbs.

  • Check out my video bro... I been workin out fo 1.5 years ... I have goals : get a better lower chest, bigger lats and legs... Also compete in a year.. Check out my video, subscribe I will upload progress...

  • @ryumariscal I subbed but now I expect some videos!

  • @CampbellFitness Sure will bro..

  • This video is awesome! So many people need to watch this!

  • @keithc413 Thanks dude. I hate talking that much haha.

  • I want arms as big as Campbells !!!

  • @BERGATHLETICS I'll trade you for your mullet.

  • @CampbellFitness lol I would take you up on that, but I had to cut it...

  • Great video man my big goal right now in the gym is to hit 155 by summer so for im getting close to it soon as i hit that i stop the bulking and get shredded

    Chris.

  • @mcds87 What're you at now?

  • @CampbellFitness last time i got on the scale was Monday morning i was 142 when i just start to bulk up i was stuck at 130 to 135 i never try bulking up befor i never really thought of it but i had to make a change here Cause being the same weight for years i can just tell i wasn't growing and getting anywhere at the gym

  • @mcds87 What's your diet like? Do you exercise a lot? These can all play a huge role in not being able to put on weight.

  • @CampbellFitness my diet i have a bowl of oats or whole eggs in the morning with my gainer shake Out the day and dinner its chicken breast steak fish brown/white rice pasta lots of tuna im not trying to dirty bulk here i like to keep it clean i have about 7 meals a day counting my 3 shakes

  • @mcds87 How many calories are you taking in over maintenance? I have a video talking about how to figure it out if you haven't' seen it already. I know I had a hard time putting on weight up until I turned 20.

  • @CampbellFitness I have at least 2000 sometimes up to 3000 a day. i look at the video now

  • was a good video. really got me thinking

  • @DerToyzi Ha hopefully good things.

  • Great advice!! will for sure have achievable goals and set new goals after ive meet the other goal..

Thanks brandon..Glad to see ya back.

  • @claudia1515 Thanks!

  • Nice vid.

    Helpful info.

  • What gym do you go to up there? Maybe we can get a workout in one of these days either your way or down in south county.

  • Hey Brandon, Great video.. Definitely enjoyed it, I'm hopeful this will get me back on a goal set track in the gym as I feel like I've been plateauing a little bit. -B
