This happened in 2007 but I am sure there is more information it would be nice to have more put on the web site. Like what the hell was plate checking is. Most news media suck because of the short time at is allotted to news. But the web could have a few more facts.

SPOKANE, Wash. 06.23.09(AP) — Spokane police officer Karl Thompson has been indicted on federal charges over a fatal confrontation with Otto Zehm, a developmentally disabled man whom Thompson repeatedly struck and Tasered in 2006 at a Spokane, Wash., convenience store. Zehm died after he was beaten, Tasered and bound in the confrontation. Thompson faces a maximum 10 years in prison and $250,000 fine on one count and 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on a false statement count.
