must be in the payette yard may as far as i am concerned is a really good company and i would still be working for them had i not gotten a local job keep on truckin and be safe
Hey CJ let us know the difference between what you thought trucking would be like to the reality of actually doing it just gives us you before and after scenario.
@cheolopez11 Well that is a good video idea! As you can tell I'm not on with many new videos as I am Always driving. It's not an easy life, that's for sure. If you have a family I would recommend a different occupation. As a trucker you will pretty much fade out of most peoples lives because you are never there. I thought I would have a new life. What I got was no life! It's Long lonely days and months alone on the road. You have hours to think about everything in the world,
Hi I am looking to get into the truck driving business but I am looking to get my cdl a I have a cdl class b that I getting reinstated next week is their any company that give a person like me a shot right now
@stayathomedadtv I know May is always looking for entry level drivers and they start you out pretty much as soon as you can prove yourself to the trainer. usually 3-4
weeks on road then test out and get seated. give em a call they will be happy to talk with you. A lot depends on what area you live in too. Good luck!
Wow cj I was wondering what happened to you after school. I'm glad you're still enjoying driving. I gave up the otr gig and kind of moved up in the world. Now I'm driving a streched out show Pete built by the Pickett brothers from the Crome shop mafia pulling a racecar trailer. It's got a 600horse cat with an 18speed and 8 inch straight pipes. I'll put a video up one of these days
hey,Ive been wanting to join May Trucking when I turn 21.
How do they treat you there.Pretty Good?
And how's the pay,not to ask in a rude way.But if your not aloud to answer that, its fine if you cant.I understand.Well I love everything about May Trucking from Trucker Steve's videos.Well take care, and be safe out there.
@Nick7293 May has become a good entry level company. I am a contractor now so I'm on a different pay scale . When I started as a company driver they were offering .30 mile to start. It's not an easy life but if it's for you then go for it!
congrats on being an O/O,if you just started. Thanks for the fast reply.
Yeah it is definitly for me,I love everything about trucking,im going into trucking school right after high school, which 2010-2011 is my last year of high school.
@jetcoexpress I like the colors, I will peel off the decals soon! I will get my own design for the doors. I'm still leased to this company so there is no hurry.
@skoal22005 That's funny I was thinking the same thing. The truth is I'm just learning this program, and wasn't sure how to change It!! I Just wanted to post something current. Thanks for your opinion. I agree!
@TheTarrMan It came out a little different once it loaded up. I'm workin on a new program for me, I appreciate the input thanks! Good luck on your CDL.
