I can't even imagine the cost of a trial like that, how long it would go on, who they would have to bring into the US to his defense or how they could accommodate those who testified against him. Would you like to go public in a trial like that? I wouldn't, terrorist are real. It's insane to even consider the idea. No a nice clean shot to the head was the only way.
@1worldgov1 True, but don't forget, that Bin Laden and his muhajaddeen followers where supported by the CIA in the first place, during the Cold War. We also supported Saddam, prior to his demise. So, the chickens are merely coming home to roost now, because the deception is vast and largely effective. @cwmillerrn IMO, by harboring enemies of the state,Pakistan, or any other nation negates their borders in as much as the US has obligation to show consideration of said borders.
