ParkZone Ultra Micro Mosquito FPV ground testing

Blade wont work not enough lift even with smallest camera i think...

Mosquito is excellent for this with its 2 engines its ideal for this ultra micro fpv if you dont want to make your scale plane like a fool with a huge camera on top or sth.

What do you use for that small of an FPV? I like how it's transmitted to your tv.

@theexpertrcpilot Hi, checkout fpvhobby (dot) com, I use their 5.8ghz 200mw video TX and 1gr camera, all up with wires, solder and 2nd battery its like an extra 10 grams. All of the UM planes cam handled the extra weight no problem :)

I recently purchased the Super Combo kit for $135 from FPVHobby. The range is really bad. Barely 100 feet. Do you have any ideas as to what could be causing such bad range. The transmitter of course comes with the antenna wire already connected. Could it be the transmitter or could it be the receiver, which also runs on a 1S battery. Let me know what you think.

@chorianopoulos2002 Hmm, thats weird, I always put a little epoxy around the base of the wire antenna as its very fragile. With the stock antennas you should have 1000ft of clear video in line of sight.

Perhaps the RX is on the wrong channel? its a bit of a nightmare getting the channels right.

@joogsiethequaker Thanks for the input. I will try the same thing. Today I received the 5.8Ghz receiver with the dual video outputs. Maybe the problem is with the receiver I was using. I will try this new one and will let you know. I am mounting this micro FPV setup on my Blade 120 SR helicopter. Should make a great Micro FPV platform.

Haha, its funny your comment at the beginning of the video about being a good platform for micro FPV... I saw the Mosquito in my LHS this past week and that was the first thought that went through my mind! :P Your T-28 videos were what convinced me to buy one, (I believe I spoke to you in the comments of one of those vids!) so I may have to pick up a Mosquito now! I sure love that T-28!

last year i scratch-made such a micro bitmotor for fpv (c-47)

its a bit heavier than the parkzone :( but its faster i guess, uses the micro 1s brushless from HK

I thought about this plane for FPV as well, but then thought nah, I'm waiting for parkzone to build a better electric cub. Nice job, can't wait to see it fly. Thanks for trying new things and showing us the results:)
