WingnutDumbace - this TT has just as much if not more wheel travel than the rest of them out there. 23 inches in the front and 32 inches in the rear. Most people lie about their wheel travel numbers, but I don't.
This lap was about 7 miles. Laughlin has 2 days of racing, Saturday and Sunday. Each day is 8 laps. Our truck gets more torn up at this race than at the Baja 1000.
Though this is a posted piece of footage (1 year); Andy is pretty good about looking answering questions. He's busy with school and learning more about the family business, but Andy? There's a question pending about the length (miles) of the qualifying lap and my was wondering what that - let me see if we can get an agreement on what it is - that "chirping-blast-of-gas" sound when you feather the throttle? It's crisp! Almost like a Top Fuel dragster warming up...

Imagine being the co-driver and having to take a shit from drinking beers and eating Mexican food from the night before. God that would suck sooo bad!
@beceracing Usually about 8 miles; there have been some with 6 - 7. With land issues constantly changing - the only this that we can expect - is frustration. It is nice the McMillins don't play games like other drivers - the little "secrets" and game playing - Andy puts it all out there for us, and honestly, it's scary to watch one of your friends do this - but should anything ever happen - I have faith all will be well.
Come on, guys. Quit making us Americans look like idiots. Dakar is 4 times the length of the Baja 1000 and indisputably the most bad-ass off-road race on Earth. It used to be in Africa going through the most hostile desert on Earth - the Sahara, until terrorists started KILLING THE DRIVERS. Now it's in South America (Argentina and Chiie). Robby Gordon came in 3rd at the Dakar last year in his Hummer H3 *trophy truck* (got beat by a VW Toreg...). This year his H3 for Dakar is all carbon fiber.
@SpiaggiaVitas look at your comment dumb ass . F**K the Dakar race numb nut's we dont care . keep your views to the Italian videos from where you are . your channel sucks... all Favorite's NOTHING from you so suck it bitch ...... or ... mmm did one of your home town people enter a race vehicle at this race here in the usa . no .... so F - off.
SpiaggiaVitas you said it looks boring? hahaha Trophy Trucks and desert racing make Dakar Look boring you have no idea what your talking about so go jump back in your VW and have at it tough guy.A Trophy Truck will eat any Dakar Rally Car for breakfest.

Whats your front and rear wheel travel, it seems short compared to others ive seen.
I realize this is a rough coarse and no I cant beat you hehehe but just doesn't look like you have the wheel travel in this truck.
