What happened to the old sign-off that featured the chirldren's choir singing the candian national anthem? I liked that one better because that's how I learned to sing it and I sing it to some of my canadian customers at work.
At 0:31 that's the old (pre-ice storm?) transmitter building & tower base... now it's just a small nondescript "shed" for channel 11 and the FM signals. That sign-off definitely hasn't changed much since I lived in Belleville (2001-2003)... no mention of the Smiths Falls tx other than on the list. My grandfather has (on videotape somewhere) a CKWS sign-off from 1986...
@IkegamiHK312 Its old, but this was what they are still using. Brighton was over 10000 people in 2006, but this sign shows only 4200. Cars in the one shot look like late 80s.
