Very true! I found out that a very light tamp works best for me (on a pidded rancilio silvia that is) with a fine grind on my Super Jolly.

You fiddled quite a bit with the tamping, and you tamped quite hard, I would have ground a bit finer and tamped lighter, but otherwise it looked quite nice. :) More speed and a more controlled tamp (you shouldn't need to lean into it, and you should be golden.
