I still know all the words of by heart. I wonder if they still show this version of New Way To Walk on Sesame Street today? I wonder if they will do a new version of this song with more celbs that would be cool. I hope Sesame Street comes back to Channel 4 soon. Sesame Street is a brilliant show for people of all ages.

I can't believe Sally Jessy Raphael got to be on Sesame Street back in the 90's she is so lucky to go on Sesame Street. Sesame Street rocks always xxx

  • It's Sally Jesse Raphael.

  • Is that Rosie o'donnell or Paula Poundstone. And by the way Get Down Garth!

  • Rosie!

  • That's why I favorited this. Garth is in it. He's been my favorite singer since I was a little kid.

  • Garth is the one who got me into country music. My mom has listened to it for years so I always heard it in the car but until Garth I never really appreciated it.

  • is the from sesame street's 35th anniversary?

  • No. It's from a Sesame Street video tape called "Get Up And Dance".

  • The info in About This Video mentions Kevin Kline. Where is he?

  • Guess that's Kevin Kline at 2:13. He looks entirely different to me, not just because the video was done in 1993. John Goodamn also looks different in the clip - a bit like George Wendt.

  • I also saw Marisa Tomei at 3:16

  • That boy with the basketball shirt and the tap shoes name is Jason.

  • That's rocked me on !

  • Makes me wish I had tap shoes

  • Uhhhh there are smoe bits that sound like Pansori

  • anyone know who's with Bill Irwin?

  • The man with Bill Irwin is David Shiner. They've worked together many times.

  • Did I see Ruth Buzzy?

  • You definitely saw Ruth Buzzi. She's dressed as the Gladys Ormsby character she played on "Laugh In".

  • The Bill Irwin in there is the Vaudeville actor. Although I wish it was the wrestler "Wild Bill" Irwin.

  • Whatever you like - I prefer the Vaudeville Bill Irwin!

  • LOVE IT! Man I miss the 90's.

  • omg i have this on a video LOL!!!!!!

funny shit. i used to dance to the songs.

  • ZOMFG!!!! I was looking for this song here last year but only the Destiny's Child version was up and it sucked. I LOVE THE OINKER SISTERS! This is the one I remember from my childhood. Great great great song. <3 Brings back such memories.

  • i love savion but i only remember the original...which was better

  • I really like Savion too, and I think he's a great tap dancer. I wonder if he choreographed this skit because I know that he's a choreographer too.

  • @afriendofbean I like Savion too, is it me or does he look like Kevin Clash?

  • @muppetlover16 Yes, Savion does look like Kevin Clash a little bit.

  • @afriendofbean If Kevin was thinner and had his hair back (he's bald now)

  • @muppetlover16 I heard about that.

  • @afriendofbean And Bill Irwin kinda reminds me of Rick Lyon without the mustache (Rick played a parody of Mr. Noodle at the Season 30 wrap party)

  • @muppetlover16 Also, Bill Irwin kind of reminds me of Charlie Chaplin since Maria played as Charlie Chaplin on Sesame Street in the 70s and 80s, especially since Bill Irwin and Charlie Chaplin are comedians.

  • @afriendofbean But to me he looks like Rick, 'cause of his glasses and David Shiner looks like David Rudman

  • @muppetlover16 I think so too.

  • why?

  • The 80s one was the best, but this one was really awesome too

  • poor quality

  • This is GREAT!!!!!! I ADORE IT!!!!!! NOw can you do the original 1980s version of A New Way To Walk with

    The Oinker Sisters?
