  • Brilliantly played :) Just work on dynamics a little bit and this piece should sound perfect. B.t.w, excellent vibrato!

  • u didnt bring u guys down, u guys sounded great ;)

  • You guys sounded so great; I really liked your interpretation! My friend and I are also playing this.

  • I really like this! It's nice to hear just the violins.

  • The third movement to this concerto is really neat! I've only heard the first movement until now! : )

  • hey dude, what violin did you play with? It sounds nice.

  • that was great!!!!! :D

  • In my eyes it is quite perfect. Too humble as East Asians usually are. :)

What I personally do not understand is the reason you don't play the eighths short. One uses to do that in Barock music. And it sounds so much more dynamic, much more enthusiastic...

  • Nice job.... Don't sell yourself short! I'm working on the 1st and 2nd movements ... haven't tried 3rd yet. I'd be thrilled to reach your level someday. Thanks for posting.

  • I am currently trying to play this piece with a couple of people for a recital. Your video helped me a lot. Thanks, man! Ur awesome!

  • B e l l í s i m o

    Una de mis piezas favoritas.

Nunca la había escuchado sólo con los violines.

No puedo dejar de escucharlo una y otra vez!!

  • I agree with the last comment, its nice to hear just two violins- I'm going to be playing this with a friend so this really helps us to hear how the two parts fit together. In most other recordings, the violins are drowned out by the orchestra/ harpsicord. Very good job guys! Its awesome =]

  • It's great to hear just the two violins.

    Great job you two!

    Greetings from Holland.

  • Suena INCREIBLE! Hasta qué posición necesitas saber para éste movimiento?

  • 4th

  • dont say that about your self you guy di great

  • excellent

  • like the sock!

  • Comment removed

  • nice shorts

  • Very nice! It sounds awesome!

  • I agree

  • and use whole bows there, too

  • just awesome! nice job!!

  • woops, it is vivace the 1st movement.. forgot.. but still i dont use that much of vivace. I like more allegro ^_^ I downlaoded the whole Concerto (1st and 2dn violin)! that's frigging awsome :P!!

  • I gotta get that movement!! that's awsome!!!

  • wow this is a lot harder than the 1st movement! exelent =]

  • wow this is a lot harder than the 1st movement! exelent =]

  • crap I feel bad for not practicing on my violin any more

  • Sorry, I hate to interrupt here. I admire the technique of both players, supremely evident here, never mind elbows ffs. I have to take issue with 'allegro vivace'. This is allegro, it is very fast. 'Vivace' er ... is missing ...

  • Very Very Good!

  • I think she was too loud throughout (maybe it's because she was closer), but overall it was a great performance! some of the rests were a bit off but since there's no piano it doesn't really matter. Great Job!

  • Great work it sounds beautiful.

  • really good....except for 2 parts...the elbow...haha...it's like hanging there...no offence..n u guys keep stoping..btw..It's nice being fast....I like playing fast songs for violin...cause u can show n know how good n how fast u can go..

  • I repeat why the hurry

  • I don't know about you... but I interpret "allegro vivace" as "fast"... would you rather we play it andante or something?

  • Allegro means fast, which this is. Vivace means life, which this has not.

  • hey, forget about vivace! iT looks fine to me! I think its awsome! Same as the 1st Mov. Its fast but its not vivace.. like to much of it

  • Allegro fine, Vivace 'with life'. This is just fast, no interpretation, no life.

  • You must simply be used to high definition recording. Listen a little closer. The sound quality isn't the best here...

  • Mais ou Menos

  • Whoops. Well, it doesn't cut out anymore now. Erm ... not sure what all the fuss about the arm is all about - yes yes elbow elbow. But idiosyncracies are allowed aren't they? More importantly, why the hurry?

  • I wish i could just b****y hear it - it keeps cutting out!

  • I had the same bow problem when I started violin. I couldn't bow straight. Finally I solved the problem with a new chinrest centered in the middle of the violin. Maybe U can try this too?????

  • Sounds great, guys.

  • oh yeah and u guys are f***in awsome

  • whos supposed to be the first violin, the girl or the guy?

  • The girl is the first violin.

  • Woooooooooow! That was AWESOME!! :D :D I'm trying to learn this song...It's hard... x_+

  • That was fantastic.

  • Gd nicely played I am playing this next September:D

  • Wow, good job. I recently played this at a concert. The girl needs to work a little on her bowing though, it looks a little stiff so try and loosen it up a bit, use a little more wrist movement. And try to keep the bow straight, the further out your bow arm goes the closer to the fingerboard your bow goes. You did an amazing job, just fix the bow, it sort of reminds me of someone sawing at their violin when people do that. Otherwise, very good job!

  • what are you saying? the girl has great technic and her bowing is really good.if her bow is not 100% straight it hasn't affected the sound either.

  • I didn't say that there was anything wrong with her technique, it's just her bowing. And I didn't say that it effected anything either. It's just that you want to fix what you can and it was only constructive criticism. She is an amazing violinist but she needs to fix her bowing, that's something that people watch for and it makes the general appearance better.

  • Kudos on the guy for having such good intonation. For the girl, watch your dynamics--I can't hear ANYTHING he's doing! This is a double concerto, not a solo.

  • I appreciate your compliments and comments, however she is by far the better player. She just seems loud because she's standing a lot closer to the camera, which isn't that great of a camera to begin with.

  • cool dude! I've always wanted to play that concerto but i don't have a reliable source :( any tips if I start to practice it when iI get it???

  • Nevertheless, the dynamics do need a little work.

Her being louder than you is understandable, but we should be able to hear dynamic differences in her part alone.

I know that Back never put very many dynamics, especially in this piece. But in that case phrasing should be added to make the piece more technically musical.

  • *Bach

  • great, i played this like 9 months ago!!

  • You guys rock

do you have any tips for us?

  • amaazziinnn ppl!!

  • Very pretty, but watch bow placement...it doesn't stay straight

  • This is just superb...lovely intonation and expression. I've been playing this with my violin teacher for a few weeks so I know how unforgiving it can be! Your playing is inspiring :-)

  • Excellent!!!!

From former Oakland Youth Symphony (Michigan) Cellist. 1975

  • Wow you guys are great

  • i kenw it beause i see his violin

  • I love this piece...I am however finding it difficult to get myself a copy...any suggestions?

  • Old stuff like this you can probably get it offline for free. Or really cheap at a music store.

BTW, really good sound! I'm playing this now for my violin lessons.

  • yay goo chinese!

  • Sorry, not chinese but korean.

  • is he jay jay?

  • well technically, its just JJ. How did you know that, and why do you ask?

  • good job:) what a shame that you haven't played the other two movements, too.

  • awesome you should play the other movements you guys sound great!

  • you guys sound great, excellent!!
