It does have a zoom facility. The remaining cocoons did not emerge and are dead. I guess I've got about 7 or 8 nesting tubes this year. Hope they will make it out next spring.
@vonijoe It does have a zoom facilty, but just the built in zoom,no special lens yet. Looking ot buy one when I can afford it.If I zoom too much it may become out of focus or if I get too close the bees hate it, as Iminvading their territory. I believe I set this on tripod and may not have been aware I hadn't zoomed in enough. Thanks for your feedback. There are some closeup vids on my channel of bees.
@vonijoe will try but I've got big probs with new laptop. So may be a while till I do another, and if this years like last year or worse there wont be any bees to film. Bees acting like birds hey. Wish the net was around when I kept honey bees, some crackers filming would have gone on, ha ha They turned like African killer bees and I had to wear my bee suit to leave the house!!! When I got stung up my nose that was it, they went. Fascinating hobby though and I've every respect for them.
@hmalaby You are very welcome. It's a shame she didn't come back and use the nest after all that effort. Infact the activity has come to a virtual stand still. Two thirds of the cocoons have not emerged yet, and since it has been very hot sunny weather, although some strong cold winds, I would have expected them all to have started work by now. I'm concerned there is a problem with the remaining bee cocoons.

I like it, but too bad if your camera has no zoom. Cheers.

@eccentricoldcow Keep making the bee-movies! (BTW, some of your bees are doing great impressions of birds! Awesome.)
