I use this foundation, a primer and the MAC mineralizing finishing powder. How do you stop it from tranfering to your hands, paper, etc. I get brown color on everything.

Mary Kay foundation doesn't transfer as long as you set it.

Revlon color stay foundation. You can touch your face and have your face touch your clothes and it wont rub off for anything. You have to remove it with make up remover.

If I'm not mistaken, NC15 and NW15 are the lightest shades MAC carries. If you have yellow undertones in your skin, try the NC. If you have pink/red undertones in your skin, try the NW. However, many people find that MAC foundation shades run quite dark. For myself, the lightest MAC foundations are almost too dark for me, but Make-Up Forever carries one or two foundation shades that are too light for me. Make-up Forever carries better foundation formulas anyway. Hope that helps.

use a moisturiser that isnt too thick or shiny and then allow it to absorb in2 ur skin 1st before u apply ur foundation.

I think it all depend on the person, but I will say that it does make a huge difference. It sets the face for the rest of the makeup, it evens out the skin tone, and it makes skin look great. Also, with foundation, it helps the rest of your makeup stay longer (Like blush, concealer, etc.) Although, if I had perfect, I wouldn't waste my time. :)

Okay, you've sold me on MAC studio stick. I went out and bought it. I have major acne scars that are fading, but are still visible. I want to cover them up with foundation, but not look overly done. I don't have the MAC 109 just yet...so in the mean time any recommendation on what to use to apply it? I have the MAC 187, a flat foundation brush and also a kabuki brush. Will that be sufficient?

I normally use studio fix liquid or powder or just mineralize finish, but after watching your video I had to try the MAC studio stick. I purchased NC44 and sprayed my face with my charged water. I used a 190 brush(I don't have the 109 yet.) and it does look natural, dewy and just wonderful. Thank you for the video. If I never saw this video, I may have never tried it. You are the bomb Makeup guru/MUA. :) Also can I use the 129 instead of the 109?

Excellent question! Besides the Billy B. no 4 brush, I'm not sure. Any small, really dense face brush will probably do. Most of these brushes are "face contour" brushes.

hey i have a question..you sprayed fix+ On your face before you blended your make up...well i went to the mac store in Grand Rapids, MI and they did not have it..but the did have some kinda Limited edition spray call charged water...he said it was like fix+ but it was limited edition and had dimond dust in it...is this the same or diff then fix+ and can i spray it on before i put my studio stick on..please please let me know..also im getting the 109 brush based soley on you words..

Charged Water seems like the same thing to me, I never noticed anything special about it to be honest. They sound great, but I didn't notice a difference except for the scent! BTW, you will LOVE the 109 brush, since they only sell it at stores, you may have to get it online. Just watched your videos earlier today!
