  • Is the guitarist the guy from Kung Pow?

  • Search "Marsela - Billie Jean (Acoustic LIVE) - The Voice of Albania"

  • amazing

  • Great cover!!! For some reason it does remind me of some slow Metallica ballad. I can definitely picture James Hetfield doing the vocals on this. " Billy Jean-o is not my son-eh, Oh no, oh no, oh NOOOO YEAH YEAWWWWW!!!!!

  • @5che13e the beginning sort of sounds like metallica "nothing else matters"

  • DIOS MIO QUE BUENA VERSION, VOLAS CON ESTE TEMA

  • /watch?v=D-Fuhhm1-nY

Thumbs up and supporte some young bands ;DD

  • Who the fuck would dislike this??

  • @megavag Bruce Dickinson is amazing indeed (of course), but there's something about Cornell's tone that gets in to me like no one!

  • Damn. Boy can sing!

  • Is there a better voice than Chris'??? He blows my mind!!!

  • @youaremysunshine100 watch?v=BfN-woMpD04

  • holy jeez that was great and david cook did a great job jeez

  • THIS is one hell of a cover, baby!

It's hard to cover one of the best songs in pop history, and Cornell just did it right with his own dark-bluesy style.

  • HERE IS THE BEST VOCALIST EVER !!!!!..... No discussion about this..... =)

  • It`s an awesome cover!! I loved it! this is how covers should be sang!!

  • whatta voice!

  • Agree with slobbermon ..

This is awesome! Saw him live in Norway a few years ago, and that was even better, if possible!

    Chris is awesome!

  • You ruined my favorite song dude. RIP my King

  • @fingustis you are a moron. I am a fairly big MJ fan myself, but this more than does justice. You can't get much better than Chris Cornell. Effing amazing.

  • I wanna marry you!!!!!!!!!!

    yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssss

  • Great cover, Chris is the Guvnor

  • Chris cornell sang it better than the pedophile

  • @405OklahomaBrewing This. Cornell holds the notes without sounding like a woman.

  • Chris Cornell....4 octave vocal in Rock n Roll just amazing! love this version.

  • It's true anyone can do a cover exactly as the real song... it won't be a cover... Notwithstanding this cover is so bad that my mama cried when she heard it... It's horrible... Billie jean is supposed to be a funky song, a very powerfull rythm, I don't know what this song did to deserve this

  • @Fornawy This is a great cover of this song. Chris sings it with so much intensity and feeling, and perfectly on key. I think MJ would love it. Great artists feel honored when other great artists do something fantastic with one of their songs. Anyone who would try to sing it like Michael has no imagination, little talent, and would probably just embarrass themselves! CC has too much respect for other artists and himself to copy them, and besides his fans want to hear it his way.

  • @jalindberg11 I disagree... imagine a blues cover from "La macarena" it would be for me as stupid as this. Just my opinion. By the way, i jike Chris Cornell, but i just don't think this is a great idea.

  • @Fornawy --- I totally disagree, read and imagine what you wrote..."macarena in rock?"...Wow. Who do you think will collaborate something like that? That's too theatrical and stupid thoughts. It's not because I'm Chris Cornell's fan, you are talking Nonsense!

  • It should be a syn... You deserve 25 to life

  • hey guys i need honest criticism on my acoustic/vocal work, please dont be REALLY harsh but i need opinions to better myself as a musician, im originally a solo guitairst (Sweep picking) stuff like that but realized I need to write music, real music. Check it out! :) /watch?v=9Qxdm2q8ZEk (put the link after youtube)

  • MAGNIFIC.....

  • Freakin' Incredible!!!

  • I adore MJ but chris is of the same level

  • i like it until the chorus =] but welldone very original !! keep expecting a bigg solo (like a big one from david gilmour(pink floyd ) :D that would suit it so well! haha

  • Chris Cornell is one of the best singers in grunge music. It would be amazing if him and Gavin Rosdale from Bush did a song together.

  • @captainawesome830 In grunge music? I think you mean in ALL rock music.

  • 97 ppl found out the kid was their son

  • @jayhs1026

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

  • @jayhs1026 And 104 Missed ;O A Michael Jackson Link, Like Me . . . `?

  • @AlfTqhRoussfe1 And This Song LACKS Kirk Hammets Guitar FreàkÒut!

  • @AlfTqhRoussfe1 Press Load More Suggestions, Pardons! 8D

  • My inner children are now confused older teen likes this and my thirteen year old self doesn't. LOL!!! I think it is an incredibly gutsy move to cover that song. What ever happened to the idea that there are no rules in art??? that goes for music performnce as well.

  • Chris Cornell is so hot. His vocals, his face, his everything.

  • If you can listen to 1:55 through 2:15 and not get chills then you don't have a soul Chris Cornell's voice is chilling and incredible.

  • fuckin great

  • only a true artist can take a song like this and give it another interpretated twist pure brilliance mj would be proud!!!!!!!!!!

  • Chris Cornell is perfect :D!

  • tbh i prefer this to the Michael jackson version anyday

  • @gotninjad You might think it be better but I think Chris Cornell wouldn't agree on that himself, however good the cover is, there is only one.

    Rip Michael Jackson.

  • @md0206 the mj version was more about the moonwalk and dancing, cornells is pure emotion,i guess it depends on what interests you more, you obviously are amused by theatrics

  • Comment removed

  • @md0206 why would cornell moonwalk?why not lets see mj sing fell on black days!!emotion,mj made a song about being accused of cheating and fathering an illegitamate son into a dancy pop song, cornell makes it sound like there is angst in it,if you like the mj version all good, but it isnt as powerful, and saying cornell at best is a very good cover artist is incorrect, hes widely regarded as one of the best rock singers ever,mj was ok,but his main attribute was excitable fans

  • Comment removed

  • @md0206 says the guy on a chris cornell video saying mj was better, and yeah i said excitable fans, the same fans who still believe mj was the first to moonwalk, even though its well documented jeffery daniel did it first on tv,and that every dance move he ever did was a rip off of fred astaire, bob fosse, james brown etc,

ignorance is going along with what people say because you are too stupid to have an opinion of your own,do a bit of research and you'll figure out mj wasnt that great

  • @fishhed01 'you'll figure out mj wasnt that great'

    Inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame as the first (and currently only) dancer from the world of pop and rock 'n' roll. Some of his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records; 13 Grammy Awards (as well as the Grammy Legend Award and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award);

  • @fishhed01 26 American Music Awards (more than any other artist, including the "Artist of the Century"); 13 number-one singles in the United States in his solo career (more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era); and the estimated sale of over 750 million records.

Go suck on my cock you fucking hating bitch fuck you Michael did more for the people then 100000x Chris Cornell's could ever do, Jeffrey who ? Michael was the best fucking dancers there is.

So fuck you, dumb ignorant bitch.

  • Comment removed

  • @md0206 all you did is list achievements, most of which he garnered because of his excitable fans, jeffery daniels taught michael jackson how to moonwalk, his "signature move" wasnt even his,and your right daniels, astaire and brown didnt dance the way jackson did, they had their own style,mj just copied them and made it all run into 1,so in effect not being original at all, watch bob fosse snake in the grass, you can see everything jackson modelled his routine off,10years before

  • Comment removed

  • @md0206 i notice you didnt mention bob fosse, probably because you know jackson stole his shit, and was a complete fraud, look it up,and realise your idol was a fake.only die hard fans consider jackson the be all and end all, just happens jackson had gullible as fuck fans, why do you think he sold so many albums and got so many awards.

  • Comment removed

  • @md0206 ,haha,oh did the troll get bummed out?heres some of cornells achievements 1.has a normal face 2.hasnt been accused multiple times of child sexual assault 3.is still alive ,4.has actually had sex with a woman...gotta love when a trolls got no comeback except writing non sense and alot of capitals and repeated letters, sure fire sign ive already won, yeah r.i.p ,whats that stand for Really Insane Pedophile, hey i guess you the mj fan so you would know.good work

  • @md0206 annihilated?you didnt even know who jeffery daniel was!lets set it straight, youre the troll, you came onto a cornell video brought up michael jackson being better, purely to get a reaction, and since i had nothing better to do i gave you a reply, but i was here because i prefer cornells version..as for being better dancers and james brown saying mj was the best,i saw that interview aswell, and mj says that james brown was the best,so whats your point?why not just watch the mj version instead?

  • Comment removed

  • @md0206 hey you can call me what you want, but all you are is a jackson fan boy,so i dont expect you to be able to hold a normal conversation, jackson sucked since the 90s,to the point that he had to buy the beatles catalogue just to make money, because his career was over, the joke is mj is still dead,so while your jerking off wearing 1 glove listening to bad over and over, the rest of the world moved on.

  • @fishhed01 POWEEE BITCH HEEEEEEEEEEEEE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • That's just awesome!

  • Masterpiece

  • On Michael Jackson week of American Idol I think one of the contestants should do this version... KICKS ASS... just saying... "different" don't ya think? Personally I like it...

  • @5AlternateEnergy5

I think David Cook did it some years go...

  • @SuperFoeller Yes he did----after Chris had already recorded this.

  • @jnasay Of course, but he was talking about American Idol...

  • @5AlternateEnergy5 I think that was already done, that long-haired guy did this version a couple years ago I believe

  • Grandmaster

  • mueroo muerooo por este hombre me encantaaaaaaa

  • does micheal proud

  • chris made this his own..goose bumps..steal or no steal..

  • You can't listen to a cover and expect it to sound the same... ANYONE can do that... Chris took this song and sang it from HIS point of view... made it HIS... I LOVE MJ.... and I think this cover does him AWESOME justice.

  • @slobbermom I totally agree. Though I'm a sucker for stripped down raw covers.Like Ryan Adams - Wonderwall, Nelly Furtado - Crazy and of course this one^^

  • I don't even listen to this genre of music....but...this man was blessed with talent that I cannot describe in words... 3:03-3:13 Jesus!!!

  • LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • @TarantinoFan OMG thank you... I find the interpretation of this song incredibly lazy and nowhere near as good as the original. His voice is wonderful but either this song is not doing him justice or he's not doing the song justice. It is very difficult to remake any of the songs MJ was involved with though because they are really tailored to his voice and delivery.

  • l letwlkteaSD

  • fucking shiittt!!! good stuff man!!

  • just amazing

  • amazing! he truly rocks !

  • holy shit!!!! i fuckin loved it D:

  • Great song, great version, great singer

  • Pure awesomeness. Chris has a great voice.

  • Wow! Gave me chills. Chris Cornell voice changes the mood of this song. Giving it extra energy that expressed a darker sadder melody altogether

  • great cover :D lol chris cornell at 4:21 "damn flies!! get away from me!"

  • I enjoyed the Swedish performance more - there was just something more honest about it - more soulful - this was still a lovely performance - but the other one was just more raw and showed his vocal skills off way more than this.

  • Amazingggg!!!

  • Once I got over the novelty of this, and allowing for Cornell's excellent singing, I wasn't really that impressed. The rest of the group doesn't sound very inspired to me.

  • cornells voice is up to par here :)

  • brb. jizzing.

  • multiple orgasmm

  • Brilliant! Good cover!!!

  • Oh, I love this.

  • Just Great!!!

Chris Cornell Just like we know him!!!

    Great Performance

  • Chris is one of the greatest Vocalists of all time, dude is amazing.

  • @Uncouth426 yes he is!

  • at 3:07 to 3:14 I get chilly!

  • Love it!

  • MY god, PERFECt

  • 90 people can't dance on the floor in the round.

  • what a powerfull voice has cornell......good cover

  • 90pepole gonna burn in hell

  • MJ's version of this song was kinda dark on its own, but Chris took the darkness even deeper... much like Johnny Cash did with NIN's "Hurt"

  • love it

    pl CLICK v

  • Watch him, its effortless for him. Amazing

  • she said i am the one...

  • ВООБЩЕ СОМНЕВАЮСЬ ЧТО ЭТО BILLIE JEAN. ХРЕНЬ КАКЯ ТО, ДЕРЬМО ОДНИМ СЛОВОМ

  • my gosh what a pure rockin voice !

  • God damn, this is such an awesome cover! Keep it going Chris!

  • @TarantinoFan I don't like pop as a genre. I don't like Michael Jackson. I find him overrated.

  • @pmbear - Um, this isn't Audioslave. It's Chris Cornell solo (with his own touring band) back in 2007.

  • good

  • That's one show I wish I could have been there for!!!

  • That's one show I wish I could have been there for!!!

  • I think he did a great job with this song, Chris has such a beautiful voice.

  • It's pretty obvious that Billy is saying "you know music is going downhill when a band with a heavy sound like Audioslave is covering one of the The King of Pop's greatest hits..." It's a matter of taste I guess. Seems like today is the day that the stars of the 80s-90s take digs at the bands of today. Frank Black commented on Weezer and now Billy on Audioslave... IMHO it kinda sounds kind of like The Scorpions doing MJ, lol

  • billy corgan kicks ass :)

  • @fujiwarataku billy corgan ain't on this song nor in that band you tool thast chris cornell and the song was written by micheal jackson

  • @fujiwarataku Billy Corgan? Soundgarden > Smashing Pumpkins

  • @fujiwarataku What does Corgan have to do with anything?

  • @ArranoGris he twited this video some months ago

  • @fujiwarataku Thank you for posting this. It made me literally "lol" Billy Corgan does indeed kick ass.

  • @fujiwarataku you are retarded. Do not mock Chris. He is one of the best ever.

  • @fujiwarataku is that really him on guitar?

  • @Ben80997 no.

  • @fujiwarataku alright cause I was like "Billy Corgan !? Where?"

    Thanks.

  • I think Billy is joking on this one... nice song, beautiful version, I really like it

  • billy sent me here! :)

  • @chellywuzhere636 me too.

    Grande Cornell

  • nuh vudge eye nuh vudge eye nuh vudge eye (nuh)

  • Te Amo Billy Corgan!

  • Amo a Billy Corgan!!

  • This is not about who's better. It's music!

  • i don't even know if billy corgan was serious about this.

  • Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins like this on his twitter account: thank God for grunge!

  • Remember to always think twice!

  • asshole he think he better to MJ,he even dare to change the song, fuck u hor

  • @jinnhl I can't even understand your insult, sir.

  • Beautiful. I much prefer this version to be honest, the man has an amazing voice

  • be careful of who you love... and be careful of what you do, cause the lie becomes the truth...

  • OMG, he's so sexy, i like this version

  • @xDefinedGaming

You have no taste, this was truely orginal and challenging, the artists were singing from different places and to different ears.

  • @xDefinedGaming XD you're an insult to the gift of give birth to people

  • one of the top 5 best mens voices ever

  • The second greatest cover song of all time.

If anyone can correctly guess the first you'll have another subscriber.

  • @tyruk Jeff Buckley, any of the covers he did they were all great

  • @tyruk it's all a matter of opinion but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Jimi Hendrix's cover of "All Along the Watchtower".

  • @tyruk best cover ever... Johnny Cash -- "Hurt"

  • love it when muscians cover songs they love. it gives the listener a new perspective on a song they may have heard a hundred times before therefore creating a new appreciation for the original

  • He is Super Fine. Who else has such a masculine, pure rock voice and is smokin hot evererywhere?

  • He's seriously my favorite singer of all time. Chris has both soul and edge to his voice. It's amazing.

  • Amazing
