  • @adamamata2 LOL NOW I AM

  • finally!!!! im top comment :D

  • All human beings should have a Right to not starve to death. Somewhere in the world, every 5 seconds, a Child Starves to Death.

Side note: A single Hellfire Missile costs $58,000. In 2011 US and NATO forces fired over 4,100 Hellfire Missiles in Afghanistan. What is wrong with this planet?

  • @randy95023 how would you know

  • How about we start with; "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"? Whether you are religious, atheist, conservative or liberal, how about we just ALL obey the Golden Rule? If we did all other discussions about "rights" would be academic. Love your brother and treat others the way you would wish to be treated.

The fact that there is even ONE thumbs down on this video is frightening...

  • Dear Amnesty International.

.... My family has supported you for 70 years, and you have helped us, with Ireland, and kept our focus with the UN Declaration of Human Rights.

.... Homeless people, deserve a better online food shelf, than America's Second Harvest. People need food, all over, and I have lived on 50 CENTS a day, since I was 19 years old.

.... FREE EVERYTHING. Free Food, Free Shelter, and Free Clothing. PLEASE send me websites, comments, and Support. Wikileaks Anon Occupy

  • The fact that we have a Law which outlines the "Human RIghts" proves that we are not civilised in my opinion and even though we have this law, how many governments actually follow this to the letter, at the end of the day if you know the difference between right and wrong, you do not need a law to tell what I can and can't do.

  • EVERYTHING THIS UPLOAD SAYS ENDS WITH ,, THEIR LAW ! its the law itself which breaks all god given rights ! Im fucking fed up with this shit to be honest, listen ok, its so simple, IF !! i cause no harm to another I can do as I WISH, THATS THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO KNOW!!! its their law and THEIR rights here. What if I dont want their laws to govern me ! what right do I have then?? NONE!!

  • Awesome message. Trippy video.

  • This is a nice video. uphold Human rights.

  • Video freaks me out any time I watch it. Still a good job by everyone at Amnesty Int.

  • ignored:

LIBYA- NATO- rebels: ethnic cleansing of the town of Tawerga with 10,000 inhabitans !

Look how intelligently the newspaper manipulates ethnic cleansing in the title !

telegraph. co. uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8754375/Gaddafis-ghost-town-after-the-loyalists-retreat.html officer of the rebels: "We said if they didn't go, they would be conquered and imprisoned. Every single one of them has left, and we will never allow them to come back."

  • I can help but be skeptical of self proclaimed " human rights" activists. They are famed for their hypocrisy and selective judgement. For example, they are outraged when Saddam Hussein suppresses the Kurds yet they are not bothered the slightest when hearing that 567,000 Iraqi children have died as a result of sanctions. They really don't care about whether or not innocent people live or die. All they care is that democracy prevails, and that alone justifies all brutalities.

  • @ImperialRussianGuard You can't have talked to many Human Rights activists. Ever heard of Amnesty International?

  • @JoelCornah As a matter of fact I have. A group of self righteous imbeciles who feel as though they have a right to impose their ideology on sovereign nations. They do absolutely nothing of any productive value. All they try to do is start scandals to attract attention to themselves. The best thing would be for governments just to ignore them. It's painfully obvious that they are desperate for attention.

  • It seems that this should be introduced to children in education - I'm sure most children given help understanding some of the concepts, would only see logic in each article. That's were it should start, in education.

  • Rich vs poor war

  • I only wish someone could provide a higher quality print of this.

  • It's so simple!

  • 21 -(animation point) Religion is not a public service but a private ambition. 18 - manifesting religion in public likely contravenes a number of other articles and individual rights, for example: 20 - no one should be compelled to belong to an association. Yet religion receives tax breaks and other priviledges at public expense. 15 - Everyone has a right to a nationality: a global, transparent, participatory secular government would be better to confer equal citizenship across the world.

  • HUMAN RIGHTS

    youtube.com/watch?v=VhimbEfh1oc

  • Would be nice to have a better print of this video...

  • and the cover ups have expanded to the United Nations where the then Office of "High Commissioner for Human Rights" of UN, headed by Louise Arbour, a former judge of Supreme Court of Canada, seized all the complaints I sent to UN's human rights bodies, in violation of the UN's human rights complaint procedures. My story is the best illustration of hypocrite and racist nature of the "Western democracy and freedom".

  • All of these are done under a tight government organised cover-up. All the major American media refuse to publish my story, and some of them, such as CNN, even conspired with the US government to unlawfully set up secret automatic filters to filter out any information on my case on their web sites to ban my own publication attempts. Further more, those so-called "human rights groups" such as the "Human Rights Watch", “Amnesty International”, etc. ignored my request for investigation,

  • Meantime, none of the felony crimes committed by American and Canadian White perpetrators and their accomplices has been prosecuted: perjuries committed by the American professor James Cahill, and by the OHRC officer Alan Strojin; forgery of court document and criminal fraud committed by US District Court judges Saundra Brown Armstrong and Phyllis Hamilton; death threats, threats of government forced disappearance against me made by an American government agent on Yahoo newsgroups; etc.

  • Then the Ontario Human Rights Commission and an American government employee, UC Berkeley professor James Cahill set me up for criminal prosecution in that I was compelled to testify “everything true” before the Commission and then was charged for my testimony, in violation of the Canadian constitution that provides complete immunity for testimonies. I was convicted by a judge for threatening Waterhouse, despite the charge is against law and there is no any factual basis for this charge.

  • I am Wanxia Liao, a Chinese immigrant in Canada, and a victim of a brutal Fascist racial persecution jointly conducted by the Canadian and US governments. In 1991, I challenged a White professor David Waterhouse’s theory “beauty is an European concept”, he lost and retaliated against me with a series of fraud and violations of the university’s rules. I complained to the University but was retaliated with a wrongful dismissal from my cafeteria position, causing me the loss of life’s means.

  • Hardcore intro.

  • sisterhood? What is it?

  • Holderlin: “What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.” My take: What has always made the state a joy on earth has been precisely that man has Liberty to make his own heaven. These 30 rights are man made, blearing our true Rights bestowed onto us by the Laws of Nature. See my channel for details.

  • Some canadian cops = 0 integrity, they go behind target citizens' back and spread false rumors to settle personal scores .Lie, that you are a prostitute. Some Canadians are gullible, believe any crap that self serving ego maniac cops tell them and start harassing an innocent person. Justice style in Canada is hallway, water-cooler decision making process. Some courts look for ways to help cop prove their case. The premise - cops are right, citizen is wrong until proven otherwise, in practice.

  • Canada has no human rights. Canadian police psychologically tortures minority citizens. Openly, shamalessly spreads baseless widespread rumors, targeting an innocent citizen, who has challenged their egos. And JPs in courts are an extention of beaurocracy. The justice of system in Canada is hallway discussions between cops and authorities. strong opinions are made up before the case starts. Do not immigrate to Canada. Law doesn't work here. Its police mafia state.

  • Also, if you have to pay taxes, you are no "enslaved" it is a civic duty.

Being a doctor is an career. Doctors are not slaves, because they get paid. Canadian doctors are not slaves, they get paid. Furthermore, they do have the right to decline a patient.

Laws in a country don't enslave a country, The law that USA is required to give people a fair trial doesn't make USA a slave to the court systems. Laws are put in to benefit people, and are a civi duty, no enslavement

  • Well, there are two different kinds of rights. political or civil rights would mean that the government has to not infringe on your rights, such as the right to vote, to have free speech, or to imprison you without charge.

Social rights are rights the government has to provide you, such as education or in most countries healthcare.

In Scandinavian countries people have universal health coverage amongst other "socialist' things, and they have the highest living standards in the world

  • No, the poor are just as valuable as the rich.

  • This is so retarded and creepy, makes all the correct points though.

  • To everyone who is interest human rights /watch?v=AoTTJ5pi22A

( Recognition of the jewisk big اعتراف خنزير اسرائيلي )

  • I do not see why healthcare, a nationality, or an education are rights.

I also do not see why the UN expects everyone to conform to the UDHR's version of rights.

  • @aaa333ify-without citizenship (or nationality) one has no rights at all. All rights are supposed to guaranteed through your government, without which you have no rights at all.

-without access to education, a system of inequality is endorsed. Education means that people will be less likely to engage in war, be manipulated by media and false messages and it also means that people have more equality to excel and become productive

-why should only rich people be healthy? are they more valuable?

  • @jam31688 I see what you mean about nationality. But I still have to wonder, does that mean forcing (a.k.a. enslaving) a country to make someone a citizen?

I agree, everyone has a right to PURSUE an education.

Whether it is a right TO BE GIVEN an education, well...a right isn't something that you need to have, a right is something you are allowed to do, correct?

Again, does that mean forcing (a.k.a. enslaving) teachers to teach students?

I still have to think about that.

  • @jam31688 If healthcare was a right, would that mean FORCING doctors to treat someone. Wouldn't that be enslaving the doctor??

If food, water, healthcare, and shelter are all rights, what is the point of working?

The only reason I might agree that healthcare is a right is because it guarantees your right to life. But still, how can we trut the government to give u healthcare?

  • @aaa333ify It's a human right to live. What means, acees to needed medical treatment is a human right as well. Doesn't e.g. a woman who is just about to give birth have the right to acess a hospital for that the birth process is safe?

  • no more int in the printer sir cant do my project

  • the question is:

    WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING ALREADY?

  • because the idea is good and individuals are mostly quite nice and others are not (it depends on the situation of the vent amn other factors.. but as a specie we are quite fucked up... large groups of individuals going in one direction makes kinda loose the sense of individuality in order to be part of the "collective"... we need to "evolve" more to be ready for this unfortunately... (a brief personal bad explained ('cos english is not my native language) hiphothesys on the issue)

  • @MikeCrows

This isn't working because those...yes, those whom this was made for after WWll, have not only disappointed themselves, but instead knowingly engaged in genocide against us who have distribute them their bill of rights under universal declaration(thus same for everyone). This is why not only will never ever work, but instead repeat with dire consequences..it is too late to repent after severe crime which have taken place against me for example(visit my page and read cause)...2 late

  • @MikeCrows

Time was and is...and should be for each and everyone of you...since the declaration, however, that never took place...you know, with entitlements also duties arrive(this is something that those who have claimed to be victims have never ever realized...instead hatred, revenge, anger, egoism..lowest human instincts have continued to stay their motive..it grew exactly in what is listed as my cause on profile). Second..how could world of lies(USA) is manage to survive on a long run !?

  • @MikeCrows

    1. Because everybody is fighting for his own n family rights n egoistic needs?

    2. Because in REALITY its no so easy to see the clear difference beween GOOD n BAD as in Hollywood Films?

    3. Because normaly schools dont make us realy interesting n open for life n motivated to LEARN allways n everywhere?

    4. Because the people who have power or the privileges are often ruthless, danger n make us afraid and dont want to give that away?

    5. Because of TV?

    6. Because of SAPERE AUDE !?!

  • @MikeCrows MONEY

  • @MikeCrows because human rights are optional, the UN doesnt have the Law to enforce it. Unfortunately =(

  • wats the 10th human right?

  • The right to a fair trial.

  • looks like free market economies, neo liberalisation and democracy will stay, until replaced by a better order, inspite of exploitation of large sections of people in world, until their is a better order - if their is one, don't think so because world is divided, don't think anyone will return to communism. been there didn't work, especially when people are asking for greater autonomis and more federal powers than dictatorships and national govts.

  • great document

  • this is a well written document and covers human, social, political, economocal rights etc. which people of all shades and opinions should read. It is a document which was meant to shape a better world, drafted in 1948, at the time of decolonisation (imperialism), end of facism in europe. though a supporter of trade unionism and workers right, doesn't support the dictatorship of working class - their are minorities remember, it covers them too.

  • Simply amazing!

  • By the way as i often say:

20% of the population ow 80% of all richness thrugh the world...

And it would be different, if some people had been reeding the uman rights instead of reading the contract of their latest mercedece

  • Interestingly enough, generally the more that leaders talk about how they're so passionate about "serving God", the more likely that rights in this declaration are loathed by them (the Middle-East, Italy, evangelical Christians such as George W. Bush...etc.).

  • I remember showing this on my college campus in 1988 when I was a student organizer for Amnesty. That was my formal entry into working for nonprofits. Twenty years later -- I'm still doing it! Thanks, Amnesty.

  • @CrookdRiverWmn You forgot to attempt to enlist right wing organization.

  • @Aryaba ????

  • @CrookdRiverWmn good stuff man.

  • Israeli is violating every one of the 30 human rights listed. Equal treatment (regardless of race or religion), freedom of movement, freedom from arbitrary arrest, imprisonment and torture, equal treatment before the law, freedom to travel, freedom to enjoy property without interference, freedom to make a living, and the right of refugees to return are all denied to Palestinians. House demolitions/Israeli settlements, checkpoints, 11000 Palestinian prisoners, collective punishment etc

  • Number five lies to you. The United States had guantanamo bay torturing many innocent people a while ago.

  • so the US not only defies their own decleration, but they defy this one too? wow thats just sad on so many levels.

  • Fairness and equal rights for all !

  • I have posted a video response, it was there and it has just disappeared. What could be the reason. I dont think so that it is that bad. It is stricly related to this video because it is about human rights.

  • Excellent video. I like the protection of the law in Article #7 and #8. The question is that if the mother, grandmother and her family got this protection? The video of desperation2003 and the free story can show and tell.

  • starting from around Article 23 the whole thing turned from a statement of basic Liberty into one of those Social Liberal schemes: saying everyone is entitled to wages that can support their family, everyone should be entitled to adequate housing and food, etc. this is not right.

  • They are necessary conditions for positive implementation of the preceding liberties. Clearly.

  • "They are necessary conditions for positive implementation of the preceding liberties. Clearly. "

The 'right' to join a trade union is a basic human 'right"?

How is the 'right' to social security' and related items not placing others into servitude?

  • Since trade unions are so often necessary to protect workers from employers the right to join a trade union should be a human right. You don't have to join a union but you have the right to if needed.

  • "turned from a statement of basic Liberty into one of those Social Liberal schemes: saying everyone is entitled to wages that can support their family, everyone should be entitled to adequate housing and food, etc. this is not right. "

    Spot on!

  • Why is it not right? Wages should be meet essential needs. If you can't pay that then you don't deserve employees.

  • This was cute.

  • "Right to food, clothing, medical care, education.." You don't have the right to force other people to serve you at gunpoint. You don't have the right to violently extort the labor of others. This is the reason why you don't have the right to any of these things. Furthermore, there is a blatant contradiction between compulsory education and the abolition of slavery, and the "right" to "free" education is a "right" which contradicts basic economic law.

  • A common neoliberal argument, but your basic premise is rejected by broad international agreement, which is that everyone has the right to a social order that helps realise these economic and social rights (UDHR article28). Some communal provision for the good of all may not be neoliberal 'economic law' but it is the basis, for example of family life.

  • The "right" to social security is inconsistent with the right to property and the abolition of involuntary servitude. These "rights" can not logically coexist. You don't have the "right" to employment. Nobody owes you a salary for existing. Many labor standards nullify the right to contract. If bob agrees to work for George under minimum wage, then they have both made a mutually beneficial trade that is no one else's business. A "right to holidays" assumes the absence of a right to contract.

  • "Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person." Can someone please explain to me what the hell "security of person" means? "No one shall be held in slavery or servitude." This means, no income tax, or military conscription. Both are involuntary servitude. "No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his or her property." That means no taxation. "..government based.. will of people.. expressed in elections." Does this mean that if the majority does not vote, they do not consent?

  • 'Security of person' means basic safety. But rather than asking YouTubers, you could just google it and do some reading.

  • i'm down with this. sounds pretty basic

  • This is one of the Most Profound and Amazing videos on youtube.

When First contact is made, this should be our message.

  • I can't understand the concept of human 'rights'. They are no more than a wish list. The 10 Commandments and Christ's Eight Beatitudes are far superior and make more sense.

For one thing, they command an active subject, whereas the Human Rights only speak about a passive receiver; but what if no one is able or willing to deliver? The Christian approach is the correct approach and the one on which Governments should base their policies.

  • Sorry to break it to ya, man.

Christ's message was a composite message of Pagan Sun Worship, The Gnostic Savior "Jesus Christ", and Occasional Amended Governmental law doctrine throughout the centuries and cultures.

I say this with respect and genuine concern for your perception of reality...

Throw out everything you know and start learning again.

  • GojinEdowara, I say this with respect, the UN 'human rights' creates passive recepticles of individuals, while the Christian way demands active responsiblity and participation.

The UN approach makes people dependant on govenments and global organisations, while the Christian way promotes individual autonomy. Much, much better, don't you think?

  • No. IDK what you mean about "Passive Recepticles", All I see are basic universal human freedoms demanding recognition.

  • People are not dependent on governments b/c they can keep to a nationality that allows them freedom. One of the last articles IS about social responsibility, so id DOES promote a sharing society.

And as far as Christianity goes, If it's truth you seek, don't read a book that beats around the bush. Get direct answers to your questions from fellow man. Not cryptic writings proven to be mostly based on crowd control and subject subservience.

  • Christianity promotes human autonomy and individual responsibility rather than dependance on government and other groups. This is why it is not often liked among the elites.

I am an ex-atheist who became a Catholic after accidently reading a Catholic newspaper and realising I had never read so much sense in my life!

  • Well, I'm an ex-Roman catholic and All I remember is a religion based on having "God" sort it out for you in the end. I'm also an ex atheist b/c it helped me grow intelligence. Then I became a researcher and a scientist when it came to who I am, who we are, and why we are here. Sounds like I went from putting it all on god to taking responsibility. I think it is counter-productive to go back to religious dogma in light of my own hard-earned exploration.

  • I've read one of those catholic newspapers and all it did was try to scare me into becoming a catholic using hell as the threat.

And while we're at it, the elites are all christian, jewish and muslim. Why? b/c they're refered to as the 3 main religions (Even though Bhuddism and Hinduism are older and have millions of followers). It all comes down to their war for land and oil and ultimately the world and all the human minds.

    Smash the control machine.

  • Well, the newspaper I read made sense of the world that I could see without ever referring to Hell. Although they didn't reject Hell either. That would be foolish!

The Elites only use Christianity as a cloak, if at all. They are really Freemasons or Atheists. They want to control the 'ordinary people', while Christianity gives 'ordinary people' responsibility and freedom, within moral limits.

  • Please watch

  • foreigners GO HOME

  • Go Amnesty International!

  • These "rights" are great, but all notion of caring or concern for fellow human beings goes right out the window when war is declared.

War is no-holds barred vicious fighting, and it does nothing but bring out the evil in people.

  • I agree, Let's look at WHY USA went to war. A bunch of oil tycoons bought their way through our government and sent OUR PEOPLE to war b/c Our Officials COULD be bought in the first place.

If our officials and voted-in Representatives held law above profit, this wouldn't be a problem. We MUST change AS INDIVIDUALS and take responsibility to protect our government by condemning criminals, especially those that use the system for evil gains.

    This may take a while.

  • ^-^

  • It's being ignored by nearly every major western country right now! Who wants to bet that people will want to look away from this:

The Hippocratic Oath, Declaration of Geneva:

"I will maintain the utmost respect for human life, from the time of its conception;"

    UDHR:

"WHEREAS the child, by reason of his physical and mental immaturity, needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth"

  • UN is the most criminal organization in the world. Amnesty members are deceived by this awful world power who wants to dominate you.

  • UN only tries to keep peace in the world.... its the u.s. your talking about to many corrupt politicians

  • Guantanamo wow that gets brought so often by people..hmmmm..anyone remember when International Red Cross and Amnesty Int. went and demanded that the guards paint the viewing glass black, to give the prisoners privacy....and five committed suicide what the hell do you want all of these terrorists just let go, after they were captured fighting our troops...hmmm I wonder what they will do if they are let go? Abdullah Massoud, when released went home joined up and kidnapped 2 Chinese dam workers.

  • what does this want to utter? it is totally unrealistic.

  • All Police around the world should know this and the "Miranda Law" which says that a person is innocent untill proven guilty.

In other parts of the world the law is reversed or they don't know about Human Rights.

"A person is guilty until proven innocent".

  • Believe me, as a former Police Officer I can with full certain that Guilty until proven innocent is alive and well here too!

  • more like a western rights organisation.

Amnesty International is all about international interests.
