  • Hi there! I watched both your videos, very informative. Plus, that warm spirit could only hail from Charlotte! My husband and family are planning to move there after I graduate. We were just there last summer looking at properties. We absolutely love Charlotte...I can hardly wait until 2011...

  • Hi, nice video! just wondering if those products that you mentioned would cause lint as want to avoid this. Thanks

  • I just found your video and I am currently going thru them. I've subscribed because I really enjoy your videos, and I hope you make more soon. Can you explain how you do your new growth? My daughter is starting and I'm trying to learn about palm rolling. I interloc mine, but she doesn't want that technique.

  • Thanks...great advice.

  • Thank you for the suggestion on making your own loc spray. For the longest (years), I would just squeeze a bit of this or that in my hand. My since seeing this video I picked up a spray bottle and made my own hair potion: almond oil, olive oil, carrot oil, avocado oil and cocoa oil. It smells lovely. Thanks again.

  • those are some of the best dreads ive ever seen I want some like that

  • Do you have any information on growing silver fox lox? Gray hair is a little different from young hair.

  • Girl, your locs are beautiful. I want some, I'm just a little nervous about getting them.

  • Thanks so much for sharing your video, i really enjoyed watching! Take care and God Bess! "SMILE"

  • "Get trigger happy"! lol. Your locs are ga ga gorgeous. Luv the video,

  • I enjoyed both vids and I have favorited them. I will also share them with my loced and natural friends.

  • Your hair is abolutely beautiful! Would you mind posting the recipe for your moisturizer?

    Thanks in advance:)

  • Hi Thank You! The Recipe is on the right in the info box.

  • Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! I checked out canadianlioness, however, she hasn't been on in years (according to her profile). Would you mind sharing your recipe for the moisturizer that you made with the glycerin.

    Thanks in advance:)

  • lol "get trigga happy"

  • I use glycerin, pure coconut oil, peppermint oil, lavender or ylang ylang oil with water. it keeps my hair moisterized, shiny and smelling good. For men, I suggest leaving the lavender and ylang ylang oil out. Thanks, Tracey....

  • iv been growing my hair for 5 yrs, clean and beautiful hair

  • Is glycerine a natural product. I know Glycerine is a humectant and it holds moisture in but what is the ratio of water to glycerine that you used for your spray?

  • WOW your locs are really beautiful..I am going out to the "Chinaman around the corner" and picking up these products for myself...What was the name of the styling gel that you used??? Keep it loc'd

  • Thank you! I love my hair, and I just noticed that I did not place a pic of the styling gel-thanks for bringing this to my attention. Well, the name of it is "ECO STYLER, Krystal Styling Gel" 80 OZ TUB, can cost 8.99-9.99, and last a loonnnnngggggggggg time! NO alcohol in it, no color, no flakes, no tack. This is an excellent gel for loc-ed hair. God bless you, and thank you so much for watching!

  • what did you start with and when did you really start seeing growth and who started them 4 you

  • You see growth daily. The baby stages keep you excited about your growth progress. But when you hit that 3 month mark, that is when it starts sprout up fast. I started my own locs. I researched and learned on my own. I have NEVER went to a loctician. When I married my husband, I then taught him to do my hair. I do his also. It's a blessing. Thank you for watching.

  • that was so informative! where can I get glycerin from?

  • Do you palm roll your locks, or do you twist with your fingers?

  • JML gels dont work for me either. I get residue on my locs which is not pretty straight after a re-twist, I now use ORS loc n twist gel which is cheaper and bigger tub. Your so right about locing on the budget i been doing that since day one...lol!!

  • Your locs are really amazing. I wanted to know what does the glicerin do? I see this all the time and i always feel like i need to be suing it on my locs but dont know what to do or how it should work, lol. I also find that JML locing gel dont work for me and leaves residue i now use ORS loc and twist and its seems to be ok so far.

  • I enjoyed your video very much, you are a natural. I have locs also and was wondering what does the glicerin do? I see it in the stores all the time and im tempted to by but i'd like to know what it does or what its good for first. Thanks

  • you started with sisterlocs right??

how long was your hair when you started??

  • I've been locking for the past 5monthsI absolutely love your perssonailty. I'm going to try the spearmint eo. Be blessed.

  • You can curl your locks with special rollersets of foam and some setting lotion. There are some tutorials on youtube about it, go check it out ;-)
