well i dont think tarja made the genre of the band..i mean her voice is great i prefer her voice of course,but its not the voice that counts so much..i like anette's air..all the members of the band seem simple and tarja seemed to luxurius..to serious maybe..i appreciate the fact thats she smiles while singing..thats important for me..but i definitely like tarja's voice...i was hearing the phantom of the opera live in which tarja sang WONDERFULLY before writing the com but i cant change my mind

Rivirland. People find this version beautiful cuz he has managed to create his own piano version without losing the song's feeling and harmony.

Of course a one-instrument version is never as good as the original (you can't replace the vocals, guitar, drums, a whole orchestra etc with just single a piano), but i personally think he has made an excellent work. Everyone have their own opinion i guess :)

Yes, I happen to play piano. I'm also learning this song (not with a band, just on the piano). I know it's not easy, but he's skipping the part with the fast piano on the right hand while the melody is on the left hand (starts at 1:10 in the original video), and he doesn't use any multiple touching (don't know how to say that in Engilsh) on the right hand. If he figured this out himself: Respect, but it could've been done much better (imo).
