@BestVidsRightHere I don't see why, they may suck. But I pay dirt cheap compared to whatever you pay to see games, AND, its a team with history, with some of the best records in the 80's. (The recent and prob. last four cups in a row, most playoff series victories, first goalie to ever score a goal.)

It was a clean hit, but I think there are other reasons besides the hit that the NY fans disliked Potvin. He's articulate, polite, better than any defenseman we've ever had, & I think to the beer-guzzling blue seaters he epitomized suburban polish and refinement. He had a way about him that was different from your typical empty headed jock, & in fact early on his attitude rubbed some of his teamates the wrong way.
