This scene was extremely well done. Its very powerful and the music, as Seirra54 stated, is really chilling. I remember watching this scene and I was in suspense as to what would happen...it was emotional, suspenseful, and great. This is why I love this show. :)

Everyone thinks because he's Canadian we all love Keifer Sutherland's 24. But its boring knowing he'll never die. On the otherhand, I wish MI5 didn't have such a high turn-over rate of cast. Especially the non-field people. I can't believe the heads of our Security Services aren't constantly monitored, guarded even cameras in homes let alone hallways. You'd think when you sign up you give up rights to privacy when you're so valuable. But agreed, Mi5 far better than 24 though so scary so small.

Spooks' writing is far superior to 24. If I see another sniper killing a witness in broad daylight on 24, I'm going to lose it. 24 peaked with Season 3 and it's been downhill from there. It's just too concerned with which character to kill for cheap impact...is there any 24 character with as much depth and unique personality as Adam and Fiona? Harry and Ruth? Spooks has changed its main cast about four times now. The only show I've seen that doesn't tank when the whole franchise changes.

I think it would be a false hope that Zaf is coming back. One of the main things I like about this series is the way that characters get killed off without much drama. It's much more realistic, and, unlike other shows, you don't know that a character will survive or not.
