I like the White Stripes, but I don't think they captured the mood of this song too well- it comes off as being a little too energetic and flashy.

Eh, It's not perfect, but hell it's not innacurate. It's the entire song too, not just the bit from chicago, if that's what you were getting at, and either way, what's wrong with changing it up a little? It's one thing to cover something and another thing to modernize it to try and get the sound out about the song to people in a way they might also enjoy it.

Bad and incorrect are too different concepts and so is difference in any part of it,
