It's very nice if you like that kind of thing, but more than a bit bland. I had been wondering if I ought to get some good kid's music (such as Elizabeth Mitchell's) for my three-year-old daughter, but I now realise that since I've already got her requesting the Beatles and REM, there's no more need for the entry-level stuff.
I am quite sure the little girls are Lisa and Elizabeth's. They have a great CD together and Elizabeth and her husband have a few CD's out with reall nice covers of traditional folk songs. Her voice is so soothing that my children have gone to sleep many nights listening to her. For the record the glasses have been Lisa's trademark way before I ever heard of Sarah Palin.

It brings a tear to my eye, thinking of the precious innocence of my sweet little girls who are growing up so fast. This song also reminds me of a pagan full moon ritual. I plan to teach my girls how to draw down, or "catch" the moon. All in all, this a a gorgeous video that I watch with my littlest one every night before bed :)

I have very diverse taste in music. I like just about everything from classical to singer/songwriter to rock n roll to metal to bluegrass. I just mentioned a lot of genres there so it's obvious I have no issue with recognizing how all these different styles of music are categorized. I've listened to all of these song samples and I'm buying it for my little one. We don't have her in France but you'd better believe i'm buying this in the States on our visit home. The great thing that it is bareable to listen to for parents too

I love this song & the moon as does my 3 yr old. The other night she took me outside to look at the moon. She said.."yeah! beautiful. Bright yeah! (mumble jumble) Maaaaagic!" I was speechless. All I could do was smile and giggle.

How unbelievable - my toddler's favourite passtime is "catching the moon" with anyone he can con to take him outside in the evening. I googled "catch the mooon" and found this. Wonderful. I'm entranced!!! Actually we're entranced. Tommie just watched it and tried to sing along. He just LOVES "Catch the moon!"

I love Elizabeth Mitchell's music. Take a moment and check out my new video of my daughter; I used one of Elizabeth's songs in it called "Little Wing". I think the song is so beautiful. It reminds me of when I was a little boy and sometimes it makes me cry a little.

Just so you know, 'Little Wing' is a song by Neil Young. Elizabeth was wise enough to cover it on one of her albums. Excellent choice.
