first time i've heard this song fast and WOW! it is amazing! i love the way you play! it brings out such big emotions and really- i can't put it into words- this is really really incredible! you should be so proud of yourself, congrats to your piano teacher too! did you really learn this in a month? because that is friggin awesome!!! :DDD
........VBOY.......You did very well!.....and I mean well! Ignore the numb skulls that think they are some kind of music critics. This kind of piece is like a hurdle to overcome and you certainly did it. You will do very well in the future in whatever you try.
@lredmon I don't mind music critics. I just think they need to find a place where they belong, rather than criticising someone who did this in 2 weeks.
Vboy - Ignore the clever pratts who criticise. I passed Grade 8 RACM at 14, became a pro pianist, worked with top stars and take it from me you played very well indeed - I suggest that playing it fast, but in control shows a very great skill. "Theme from the |Glass Mountain" next???? VERY GOOD LUCK and keep it up. Shall be watching.
im sorry if you haven't noticed, but i am not a professional pianist, but constructive criticism would've been nice instead of "no feelings".
look im a 14 y.o boy who just plays the piano for leisure so i won't have touched on the deepest levels in piano playing. i have simply put this video up to show my friends.
@Vboy180 i'm sorry vboy if it meant to you that way. i played this piece when i was 15. this is an advanced piece for a 14 or 15 year old. it's normally played by pre-virtuoso or virtuoso level. so i assume that you are at that level already, and you should know how a good level piano playing should sound like. read all the comments posted. they all didn't like your playing.
@christineeverth actually i don't know what a good level of piano is. like i said, i was taught by my teacher to play it fast, and followed a CD which played it fast as well.
like everyone else, it is a bit fast, and the right hand melody needs to be brought out above the left hand runs. still very well done though =D and in a month was pretty impressive.
my piano teacher wanted me to play it fast to bring out another air about it; not the air which everyone knows this song for. guess it didn't work quite as well as we hoped :)
YIKES! Talent was dripping all over the floor! Gifted lad.
