It is sad that any so-called "preacher" of the Gospel would live in a $1,700,000 mansion, while so many poor people are starving to death in this world. It is wicked! T.D. Jakes is an imposter, a phony. The Apostle Paul reminds the believers at Corinth that neither he, nor his fellow laborers in Christ, tried to make a GAIN from them. Paul didn't try to get their money. In contrast, T.D. Jakes has made a greedy, gigantic gain off many people.

God has given us all the ability to get wealth, when people aren't utilizing their God given abilities and talents they remain in the same situations. People perish for lack of knowledge (information). You cannot get something out of nothing, therefore if you want wealth you have to go after it.

I just had to say quickly that watching Bishop and 1st Lady Jakes stand together in prayer on this video at 19:43 was so beautiful to me! It is so refreshing to me to see Christian couples staying together and doing ministry together in a world where divorce in the church world is just as high as in the secular world! @AzaniaCreations76 In 1 Cor. 9, Paul teaches to put love and sacrifice above knowledge and personal rights in regard to eat & drink, the right to take a spouse, and the right to ask for money. Paul stresses that he can do all of these things yet has chosen to do none of them. This passage is about SACRIFICE- NOT GREED!

Asking for money in order to meet basic needs is not a sin, but PROFITTING and making MILLIONS off of God's sheep, by using the name of God, IS A SIN.

Operations of ministry do require funds... light, gas, water, outreach ministry.Malachi 3:8-10 reveals these things... let's not argue on what we are clearly in agreement about. There R pure vessels in this realm that do the work of the father... you will also find concerning Paul's ministry that their were daughters of zion selling pies to finance his efforts.

Bishop Jakes has done numerous things to help the community of Dallas and people around the world. If you see a fault in someone, instead of jumping into conclusions, why don't you do what Jesus would have done and PRAY for them. The Prophets of the Old Testament, the Apostle Paul in the marketplace, John the Baptist, & Jesus Christ, all PUBLICALLY CONFRONTED the culture with their sins,darkness,& error, in order to call them to GENUINE REPENTANCE.

@PastorKemp The Biblical procedure for PUBLIC leaders caught in false teaching or sin, is for them to be rebuked publicly "so that the others may take warning" (1Tim.5:20). A believer who sins PRIVATELY against another Christian is not to be exposed publicly UNLESS he/she PERSISTS unrepented in sin, in which case he is to be rebuked before the church & we are to then "treat as a pagan" (Matt.18:15-17).(1 Cor.5:3-12).

Jakes is a public speaker who is getting rich off of God's people.

TBN and their associates have turned the ministry into a den of thieves. Jesus never intended for the church to be a money machine.
