  • Someone fucked up at the reloading bench hu.

  • ouch!

  • or what happened to me, someone and ammo manufacturing put 2 soft lead bullets into one cartridge.

  • Not necessarily too much powder. More likely, a bullet was stuck in the barrel and when the next round was fired, the pressure spiked to beyond the revolver's ability to handle it.

Whenever you hear a strange or muffled sound when firing a weapon, always check to be sure the projectile in not stuck in the barrel. Better safe than sorry.

  • ducttape can fix it

  • This is an old break-top revolver, apparently. We are not told just what...

If that's the case, and someone managed to chamber modern .357 Magnum ammunition in an old revolver intended for the older, low-powered .38 loads...

    There could be problems....

There is absolutely no problem firing .38 special ammunition in a .357, I've fired many thousands of such and so have thousands of other police officers.

The cartridges are dimensionally identical save for case length.

  • WOW some people should not own a gun. This is the reason the rest of us might lose our guns....SELL YOUR GUNS DO NOT CHANGE THE AMMO TYPE USED IN A FIRE ARM UNLESS YOU HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OR TRAINING GENIUS.

  • Bugs Bunny's carrots have that effect on guns.

  • this is not problem of too much powser. This problem happen if you use .38 special in revolver for .357 Magnum. Why? Minus 2mm short shell of .38 special. Old knows conflict of these two calibres.

  • @joefrisco1 I have shot .38 special out of my .357 magnum for 15 years now and I have never had a problem. This is the first time I've heard something absurd about .357 magnums such as your comment. What you probably meant to say is that one can not shoot .357 out of a .38 revolver. For example a S&W 640 .357 mag. will shoot .357 magnum and .38 special +P with no problems but an .38 Airweight is just for .38's and nothing else. Get your facts straight.

  • @ekserchina OK. Two factors playing for crash. If you use 38, or 357. first factor is low power of choking bullet. Second factor is level of humidity. Now all process: After iniciation match, gas by match press bullet out to barel. Now, after contact bullet to bareel, bullet stopped for 0,1 sec. And now what happen? Hot gas by match lakes through the powder to fire point - about 0,1 sec too. And now...powder are fired in all contents in one moment, and this explosion is about 0,001 sec. Thats all

  • @joefrisco1 You're retarded.

  • @Mr13born79 sry. yes your gun .38. Used recalibrated ammo? Or original?

  • thats how makarov really died , Mason shot a 22. out of a sniper directly through makarovs gun and make the bullet and gun explode and peices of shrapnel completely fucked up makarovs face. and soft tissue damage LOL!

  • @Mopja100 Was that supposed to be funny?

  • I guess a lesson to be learned is. Don't buy a cheap gun, regularly clean and carefully inspect all parts of the gun, ah and don't try handloading without a proper class in the methods to do so safely! I reloaded .380 rounds while there was a massive shortage of new rounds. Well my. 380 exploded leaving me with minor injuries. Reloading, even for an expert can have the same conclusion. Clean and inspect your guns regularly and use a good well know new ammo. A lot of people die by gun explosions.

  • Thank God for Mighty Putty!

  • @BusinessofATFE Billy Mays could rebuild that gun if he was still alive.......

  • made in china ...

  • that shit is thrashed

  • Pretty typical for a hot load cylinder failure. The thin webs on either side of the hot load fail, and the then unsupported case ruptures, compressing the rounds on either side. This can also cause those rounds to cook off, compounding the damage. Wrong ammo, poorly manufactured new ammo, or poorly, or irresponsibly reloaded ammo are the usual suspects. Firing +plus P ammo in alloy framed pistols, Too.

  • Thanks for the reloading tip..

  • the bullet was made buy chuck norris

  • @kiwininja100 You fail at spelling and Chuck Norris jokes are stupid and old... By**

  • @NxMAZExH to bad people still us em PS spelling sux! JOO NEWB

  • @kiwininja100 Dude go get laid

  • @NxMAZExH .avi

  • Did someone put a .357 into a .38specil? You can shoot .38special with a .357 revolver, but you cannot shoot a .357 with a .38special revolver. It looks like a colt .38 police/army.

  • Did that explode in your hand? Or is this not your video?

  • that's bad right?

  • polymer frame taurs {judge}?

  • The SOG during the Vietnam war snuck a few of these exploding bullets into the NVA supply depots along the Ho Chi Minh trail.very successful tactic. If you have an insurgency in your neighbourhood make a few of these guns available on the black market and watch 'em go up in smoke.

  • Some asshole put a fucking fire cracker in it...fucking ruined my gun.

  • made in china. duct tape will fix it

  • There's your problem right there there's no ducktape on it ™

  • two words: duct tape

  • I think I see the problem

  • nothing superglue won't fix.

  • it must be made in china

  • this is whats supposed to happen actually :D... no really the top blows off from weak points instead of the back section blowing up cause a dumbass used the wrong powder or too much and thought it would be ok to use...

  • Is that a Dan Wesson?

  • im no gun expert but i think thats bad

  • what kind of gun?

  • made in china

  • Windicator ??

  • fuck chuck norris hes a stupid cunt..

  • is a flesh wound

  • thats what happens when u aim at chuck norris

  • WHAT THE HELL!!!!

  • you can still reload those shells, right?

  • 1) Hold your breath.

    2) Copy all of these steps.

    3) Go to two other video.

    4) Paste it in the comments.

If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

  • @jonathan7349 lol, i did it withut breathing :D

  • well now u can use the gun to pistol whip people with it ;)

  • i think a S&W 460 round in a .45 LC Cowboy period revolver is a good idea.

  • @gumby83 I think the shell is a 50-90 Sharp.

  • @MrTechnoAlex 50-90 in a revolver??? What drug are you smoking?

  • DON'T PUT .357's In a .38 I know it tempting but it only works the other way around.

  • and this is what happens when chuck norris isnt careful when he loads his gun

  • @TheMousebraker damn slob knobbers. quit slobbin on chuck norris's knob

  • thats what happens when you buy a taurus

  • What is that ,looks alot like a model #10 Smith and Wesson 1960 and the same thing happened to mine

  • no not china i think it are the drugs dealing mexican's when the don't have drugs

  • @TheMousebraker FUCK CHUCK NORIS!

  • @xARMEDCIVILIANx YES! Finally somebody else that hates the chuck norris comments.

  • what the fuck happend?

  • that will buff out

  • @fornello123 yep, just a small scratch.

  • @fornello123 yeah a little instant cold blue and it's back to the firing line. ;D

  • Not necessarily too much powder.... could have been rust in your measuring tools... or rust in your reloader. that Causes the gunpowder to oxidize... instead of the powder igniting at the back of the bullet causing a forward burn it ignites in the front of the bullet.. there is also oxygen. The oxygen ignites along with the rust and powder at the front of the bullet causing a hotter ignition, which then blows the cylinder and the top strap off of the gun. I've be loading for almost 10 years.

  • .38 :P

  • Chuck Norris eat this pistole

  • @MateDarkEagle GET OFF CHUCK NORIS DICK !

  • @xARMEDCIVILIANx YES! Finally somebody else that hates the chuck norris comments.

  • @xARMEDCIVILIANx YES! Finally somebody else that hates the chuck norris comments.

ya, no shit. damn slob knobbers. quit slobbin on his knob.

  • Good to know theres a 50/50 chance of one person being killed in a gunfight with one gun

  • @MisterLEM0NS HAHAHA can u imagine how funny that would be if this happened to a robber.

  • @ZombiePowerDrink that piece of crap looks like a 22. what was the gun made of, wax?

  • @MisterLEM0NS I feel bad for the gun lol one bad round had to F it up

  • pow!!! right in the kisser!!!!

  • In Soviet Russia, pistol lose at Russian Roulette!

  • were you the one who reloaded the round? Does it take much to be "to much" I just bought a 1911 and im good with my hands and attention to detail but Im afraid of having a round blow up in my face.

  • i think you problem is you missing half you gun =D

  • Comment removed

  • hey i think the top of the pistol blew off... idk XD

lol i didnt notice that but its fuckin funny thanks brah that actually made my day!

im gona listen to it over and over cos its that funny!!

  • It was made in china

  • Are you sure you didn't put a stick of dynamite down the barrel? That might be your problem.

  • dosent frikin matter where its made if you excede the presure limits or metarial isnt as good as used to be this wil happen

  • @randomguyfromtexas dude it was just a joke

  • ooy mate yah almost blew your balls off!

  • mmm i see that this revolver was probably a useless chinese knockoff of a rugged smith&wesson or colt proof that knockoff weapons are as dangerous as a frag grenade

  • probely the bullet was made wrong or the steel of the revolver was old and weak

  • either made in china or america

  • pakistani or thai underground factory product probably

  • That'll buff out.

  • in soviet russia the gun blows you up

  • @volcunman2000 That does't make sense. In America we don't blow up guns.

  • @volcunman2000 In soviet Russia guns work fine. Its only American shit that is shit.

  • @cassius969 Other than the AK your guns are shit.

  • @Lowcountrytrucker SKS, Mosin-Nagant, TT-33. Dare you to prove these are shit.

  • @cassius969 i was just going to write that but you beat me to it by a month.

  • @volcunman2000 HAHAHHA OH GOD!! you're so unique!

  • That happened to my grandpas revolver. Probably had to much powder.

  • @partywithJdub or too less :P

  • I have a revolver. I've fired revolvers. They're not supposed to do that.

  • what make was the gun?

  • @TheTrollchild China.

  • the only thing china makes that cant kill you are their handguns

  • In Russia gun blows you

  • @sc0130sc russia can suck it bunch faggets always tryin talk shit in america we kick russian Asses for fun the russians bunch big mouth douches who need a good ass whoopin come to U.S.A get owned son

  • @Jcrazyninja Erm.. I wouldn't mess with Russian.. After all they make some of the most reliable guns in the world.. and have -Alot- of soldiers

  • @AirsofterCanada nah MUST have been made in Canada xD

  • any chance have the fireing of the gun?

  • you tried to put paper bullet in cap gun :D ?

or real bullet into cap gun ?

  • @optie96 no I meant Ruger retard. Luger has to do with the German 9MM. I could care less about pistols unless its a well made 1911. I like my wheel guns for sure. Got it? Good!!!

  • @DobermansRock Agreed. When you squeeze a revolver, it pretty much has to fire.Though I think the 1911 is pretty damn sexy.

  • @heliarche No doubt about the 1911. I have a Kimber Grand Raptor II and love it. Just put Houge grips on it the other day. Mega comfortable.

  • wow!!!

  • Never heard of this happening to a Ruger...

  • @DobermansRock luger actually

  • @DobermansRock Probably home loaded cartridges.

  • probably a Taurus

  • @Slic3R1 I do not own a Taurus but in the last few years they have stepped up there game and have now won several awards. I am not a fan boy by any means, so please don't think I'm trying to start a flame war. I'm just stating the truth. :)

  • @mrpuddlemrpuddle i never said you were a fanboy.

  • @Slic3R1 Lol, I know. I was just making sure that I didn't start and argument being accused by someone. I'm sure you know how people can be on here. :)

  • musta scared the shit outta the guy blowing up in his hand... wow!

  • to much gunpowder? what were you making your own bullets??

  • no shit it's 800 years old

  • wow. the cylinder blew off

  • made in china nd approved by the Americans xD

  • Maybe a little out of time.

  • @ Amazingsuperstar1 If that had happened in a magazine the most if not all of the rounds might have discharged.....in some cases it's handy to keep the rounds away from each other rather than stacked right on top of each other

  • a reason to why the magzine was invented? maybe

  • @AmazingSuperStar1 If that happened in a magazine it'd blow your hand off

  • i had something haooen like this but not to this extent, i had a round not chamber right with my 357 it wasnt lined up right with the barrel it was off by a fraction and i had lead spray all into my hand and arm, got a little in the face too hurt like hell

  • @hawkdlb06 this happened to me with a colt python 357 mag. had a lil jacket spray into my cheek. heard its pretty common with pythons and colt revolvers moreso than smiths or rugers. who was your rod made by?

  • Probably made in china

  • @banshee107 you probably a motherfucker

  • @banshee107 funny, looks like a smith&wesson

  • @banshee107 no russia

  • @banshee107 yep and like there toys its probably made out of lead.

  • @banshee107 We need to quit making shit in china and bring them back to the US

  • @banshee107 no. made in USA by the J. A. Pan company.

  • i feel bad for the gun and the man holding it poor firarm R.I.P 38!

  • probably to much powder in the round.

  • glad i wasn't holding that

  • @ hp9mm, First of all HAND GUNS that are revolver and automatic are both PISTOLS among other types, even BALL AND CAP hand guns are considered to be pistols. Secondly, about that recoil thing. The recoil of a firearm, whether large or small, is a result of the law of conservation of momentum. even if the fire arm has an integrated recoil dampener, the firearm itself still has RECOIL. So now you know.

  • @samielhellhound Well said!

  • you have a great comment there but for the austrian 2mm pinfire bullet put in a modified desert eagle the recoil was unmeasurable and on a ball valve air rifle it has unmeasurable recoil though an air rifle is not a firearm. great comment however

  • What about the shooter?

  • Does cartridge explode when it is hit with heavy hammer...

  • @erfanullahjan If the primer does percuss and contacts gun powder..... It will definitely do something.

  • Theres your problem =þ

  • my friend firing a .45 cal pistol using more than a year old bullets, while firing one of the bullet exploded inside the magazine!!!

  • must be very unstable cartridges... but how it happened? did he drop the magazine?

  • no, he did not dropped the magazine the bullet exploded inside the magazine which is still loaded in the pistol and the magazine stucked. one shooter said that the shell of the bullet could have a cracked in it and the previously fired bullet could have triggered the explosion when the gun recoils. the exploded bullet was second to next.

  • @danutv4182 The video description pretty much tells you there was too much charge in the cartridge... Probably exceeding the maximum allowable charge as stated by the manufacturer of the casing.

  • @danutv4182 ....As this is a REVOLVER....... there is NO magazine but a drum.....also there is NO GUN RECOIL , again as it is a REVOLVER and not a PISTOL.

  • my friend is using a .45 cal. pistol not a revolver.

  • @hp9mm a revolver is still a pistol

  • Terminology and overall fail. Not called a drum, but a cylinder. The difference does matter because a drum refers to a drum magazine. No recoil? What? If there is powder in the cartridge fired, there is recoil.

  • Too much powder. And it does not take any magazines.

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • @danutv4182 ....also, you might want to change friends...as all of them seem to explode their guns...read the signs mate

  • Yeah I'd say someone loaded those a bit too warm; but I'm not a chemist either.

  • This gun is done for... i think its impossible repairing it. it has now became scrape metal

  • repair it... seriously? no offense dude the guns a write off... ill be extremely surprised if the shooter walked away with minor injuries after that, guns are fun but when they go boom like that it can kill you, its like dynamite in your face :D

  • That's correct. That exact failure can literally put the rear site through the shooters forehead. Apparently, it has actually happened.

  • Have you tried to repair the gun? You only need some high grade liquid steel and a mold, that's all. The bullets can also be repaired in a similar way and you can even reuse the gun powder.
