  • Definitivamente es una locura! Me quedo con la version de Exaudi! Mucho mas afinada que esta. Cabe destacar que la acustica de la Iglesia no ayudo para nada, lo hizo peor!

  • sorry, noisy wasn't the right word. Chaotic is more like it.

  • so noisy.

  • ich bin erschlagen! Danke.

  • Coralina es estupendo........que pasa co la gente que piensa que solamente entre voces puede cntar algo bueno.....que feo esto no percibir el talento de los demas...!!!!!!!!!

  • it's really a pity that the room didsn't suuport the song. T_T

  • great...

  • 141407078989- YOU ARE SUCH A LOOSER DUDE, i am from italy, i also witness this competition.. PHILIPPINE MADRIGAL wins

    my heart..

  • I don't understand, if you want to say something to me, why don't you use the "reply" option??? So, I'm a looser by not knowing who won the competition? Can't I ask? My gog, thanks for the compliment, but I think I have the right to ask for the winner If I don't know who is it, or can't I even do so? I also love Philippine madrigal Singers... you're a pussy bitch!

  • It's okay to ask who had won the competition if you honestly didn't know. But in your earlier post, you said that you knew for a fact that the Philippine Madrigal Singers didn't win. I had to set you straight to let you know that they've WON. You even said that it was impossible for the Philippine Madrigals to be the best in the world because you claimed that the best choirs are from Taipei and Cuba. Well, dude...both choirs lost to the Philippine Madrigals. So there...JA JA JA JA JA JA JA!!!

  • You didn't get what I said either... I had the wrong imformation that was Taipei who won the competition, and I didn't say MADZ impossible to win the competition, I just used to belive they weren't the winner... I hope the misundertanding is clear now because I don't want to write another comment to explain myself if that's ok with you...

  • Jziejazz... your profile shows that you're from manila, philippines (NOT from italy). maybe, you are currently in italy?

  • madrigals rock...

  • The European Gran Prix is held every year in six revolving locations - Arezzo and Gorizia in Italy, Debrecen in Hungary, Tolosa in Spain, Tours in France, and Varna in Bulgaria. Each location produces its own international competition of which a grand prize winner is named. These winners then represent the respective locations in the European Gran Prix the following year. (Cont.)

  • (Cont.)The Taipei Chamber Singers (Taipei, Taiwan) won the Bela Bartok International Choir Competition in Debrecen, Hungary; Cantemus (Nyíregyhàza, Hungary) won the Concorso Cesare Augusto (C.A.) Seghizzi in Gorizia, Italy; Schola Cantorum Coralina (Havana, Cuba) won the Concorso Polifónico Guido d'Arezzo in Arezzo, Italy; and Children's Choir Vesna (Moscow, Russia) won the Concurso Coral de Tolosa, Spain. (Cont.)

  • (Cont.) The Philippine Madrigal Singers won the Florilège Vocal de Tours in Tours, France. The International May Choir Competition in Varna, Bulgaria is held every two years. Varna did not have a competition in 2006, and was therefore not represented in the 2007 Grand Prix.

  • Philippine Madrigal Singers are the best. No doubt about that, they're the champion....

  • que cancion tan complicada y que coro tan espectacular...

    coralina es lo máximo!

  • Accept the fact that MADRIGAL SINGER is the only choir sing in the EGP.. Dare the MADZ to sing this piece for you to know how MADZ really great and i can assure you that madz can sing better that what they do in this competition.. Ok..

  • well, i preffer the cuban sound, specialy the entre voces, is another cuban choir, much better than this one.

  • madrigal singers is not THE choir of the world dude!!! YOU should accept the fact that you didn't win the competition, that's not bad man, everybody have to lose some day, and don't say that they can sing this better than cuban people because it's just impossible. the bests choirs of the world to me are: tapiei chamber singers, st. jakob's chamber choir and evtrevoces form cuba...

  • Ah...dude...The Philippine Madrigal Singers WON FIRST PRIZE in this particular competition.

  • well, I thaught that the winner choir was Tapiei Chamber Singers, find it out and let me know. Maybe like their faces are similar, somebody got confused and said so, and I belive it (that Tapiei chamber singers won the competition) so, I really wanna know...

  • Ha ha ha ha!!! Don't be such a sour puss... You tried to put down the Philippine Madrigal Singers without doing research. THEY'VE WON THE GRAND PRIZE, dude! The only choir to win in this most prestigious competition TWO TIMES!!!

  • No, I didn't try to put down the Philippine Madrigal Singers, I love them, and I'm not a sour, I was replying somebody who sent me a message (being a sour) and never read it, that's why I wrote the comment, so, it's true I didn't research but is not against PHMS I did it, thanks for the information, do you know who had the 2nd and 3rd place? I'll research but still say it so everybody can see it here, thanks

  • I think all the choirs qualified to compete in the EGP are the best choirs in the world. I am a member of Taipei Chamber Singers and I love Philippine Madrigal Singers Singers. After 2007 EGP, I flied to Manila to watch their homecoming concert in October. Madz won the EGP in 2007, and there is no 2nd or 3rd prize of EGP, EGP only announced winner of EGP.

  • thank you very much!

  • The Madz didn't win this EGP? That it is impossible for the Madz to sing better than the Cubans? Bwaa ha ha ha ha!!! For your information, your other favorite Cuban choir, the Entrevoces, also lost to the Madz in both the habanera and polyphony categories of the Torrevieja choral competitions in 2004, where the Madz were declared champions for both categories. Your favorite Cuban choir placed second in the habanera category and did not rank among the top 3 choirs in the polyphony category.

  • you said it yourself, in 2004! have you heard entrevoces now after 2006? and plus, does a few people from a jury have the absolute truth? sure they do, just if it's convenient for the juged choir, like it happens with the MADZ! I feel sorry that you can't take this less personaly, it is very not mature from you...

  • There you go again, 141407078989. I don't know now if your tangent views and uninformed claims are the result of poor hearing, poor taste, or just plain and simple stupidity.

  • (Continuation:) Although habaneras originated from Cuba, the Madz sang them better than the Cuban choir Entrevoces! So there. After making those unfounded claims, it's your time now to swallow your pride and accept the difficult truth.

  • que gritadera!!!!!!

    what a yellinggg!!!!!

  • coralina is a good group , tha acustic is so much in the church it not help to the choirs in the contest

  • i'm sorry but I cannot understand what they are doing. Aside from the fact that they use another language, their performance was ... too full of acions... It made the whole performance messy. forgive me If I ever reacted this way. Less actions, more vocal quality would be a perfect tandem. Congratulations anyhow. Madz still has my heart. :p

  • I understand perfectly what you want to say, excuse my english please, this version is recorded in a cathedral so, the sound is not so clear, I know the piece and I miss many important things because the reverberance doesn't let them be understanded. You should listen to som "rumba guaguancó" cubana and then you would undesrtend it better, thanks for your comment.

  • still no one can beat phil madrigal singers........hahhaha

  • I disagree, I think coralina has better things than madrigal singers and madrigal singers has better things than coralina, butt i don't think that comparing is the question, the quietion is that is the best aporrumbeosis until today, and I'm very very very very sure that madrigal singers woun't ever do la aporrumbeosis as perfect as coralina, excuse my english and don't think I wanna start a fight please, I'm a peaceful person and this is my point of view.
