Why is the girl doing hayanuki standing up when it's clear that she can kneel? It is because she's a muslim? If that's the case, the only thing that suffers is the ryu.
Proton1, why do you jump to the conclusion of religion reason? are you racist? moslem hater? why don't you ask whether she has injured knee? or something else. anyway, it's a matter of choice whether she wants to perform standing or kneeling, both are alowed, i guess you don't know that.
It's not unusual that people with deep religious attachments avoid putting themselves in positions that lessen themselves except before their gods. That includes no bowing, kneeling or even completely practicing what they perceive is a violent sword art.
Take Jehovah Witnesses for example. They don't stand for national anthems and rather not bow to anything. What's the religious diversity like over there? Because if you teach, I'm sure you have encountered at least..
..one person who wants you to let them ignore tradition and exclude bowing, etc.; things that should not be done simply because their worldview says they they shouldn't do those things. In the dojo we must protect the ryu as much as they are protective of their religious practices.
She sometimes wear headcover and sometimes doesn't, nothing wrong with that. And she does exactly what I told her to at dojo, dojo rules, reigi etc.. so don't you worry too much about her religion. She is also my daughter, she also always trains with our Grandmaster.
Watch my other video, demo at House of Sampoerna, and you will see her doing torei. Do you understand now?
You can also watch this video till the end, and see her doing torei. so none of your statement about religion thing needed to be put forward in the first place.
