why do people mount the amp on the floor...all you have to do is mount it in the middle between the two subs

they mount them there so if the subs get stolen if is harder to get the amp but if you put them on the box there both gone

How did you get enough mounting depth for those l7's? How deep is your box?

This box has roughly 10-11 inches of depth. Plenty of room for these subs....I know they should have more but hey, it workes for me. I recently put in the 2008 L7s and wired them to 1ohm. Im still breaking them in but they make the subs in this video look really weak!! The new subs are alot more solid when they hit. Like I said, im still breaking them in but they already seem louder than the ones you just watched when I pushed them!
