But unless your house was built without using cement, steel, machines and an engineer.... your house was built using science.

in the defence of science, it does offer a bit of security. it offers a more healthy life. for example, two of my brothers are twins with each other. they would have both died at birth if not for advanced science. and even a philosophical savior such as SOAD would not condone "hate." most people will try to convince others of their belif, not just science teachers. just look at any religous person, think ther right, everyone else is wrong. i have no intrest however in science or religon
