Calgary Flames winning the Cup was the highlight of the season. Great regular season record along with one of the greatest goals for/against ratios ever. 354 goals for and 226 goals for against for a ratio of 1.57 to 1. Absolutely phenomenal. Probably the best balance of offence and defence in the 80's. The Flames number 3 and 4 d-men could have been a 1-2 on most other teams except Montreal and Washington. Vernon was a very, very underated goalie too. He was better than Roy in the finals.
