  • I'd like to be someone that you would not intimidate but... I've too much compation too punch. -_-

  • is 28 too late to start boxing?

  • He forgot sparring.

  • is it wrong that i would want to do boxing training to get in shape ? i've never been a fan of mass building in gyms because its 50/50 show to purpose built muscle for me. i prefer 100% purpose built muscle with the added benifits of speed and agility in terms of footwork and balance.

  • boxing is more than just a sport, its a way of life

  • Great advice for a 41 second video. You'd need hundreds of hours of video just to scratch the surface of boxing basics. The sweet science, baby.

  • Like the punch at the end

  • is it too late to start boxing at 17?

  • @gkSRFC no

  • @gkSRFC its never too late!

  • @gkSRFC nah im just starting at 16 and im almost 17 ur fine man

  • i wake up at 2 in the afternoon can i still be a boxer

  • where is ure gym located? iam interested in training with you

  • I would wish that this guy had he's own channel so i could subscribe to him :/

  • this guy looks like brad bellick from prison break :D

  • 0:11 keep your left hand up please other then that good

  • you dont have to want to hurt people, just to land punches pain or not

  • I can tell much, for real boxing. I got 15 fights

In Sf and New York. I became pro started as a Smoker fighter in the bay Area. That is real fights.

  • @TheRorschach6969 I'm sorry but, that makes no sense at all...

  • are those twins super bag gloves you're using?

  • I'm a black belt at karate, so i know at least basics of punching. There are so many different punch bags and i don't know what to get as most of my training is done punching air. I'm 16 so don't know what weight to get either, has anyone got any suggestions?

  • @kellyboy5 If your lifting weights, use your own body weight. Punching Bags should be at least heavy, very heavy. So when you make it sway. Congrats, your punch is a knockout punch. But i thought Karate is all about Technique?

  • @ChaiSuBin Thanks for the reply, yes karate is all about technique and we rarely use any pads. I think it would be useful to help with technique as you can see the differences between each punch. Building up power to add to the technique should make it a lot more powerful. Is there a certain website or make you would recommend getting a punch bag from?

  • you dont have to want to hurt people. i box because i love boxing. not for the sole purpose of hurting.

  • @pundek123 WRONG!

  • Who is he? obviously an ex Aussie boxer, working in the USA. Everyone who is saying he's crap should do a couple of rounds with him and then see if you can post a comment.

  • Good advice. In less than a minute the guy tells it as it is. Some of the comments below are from pernickety fucks, most of whom have no doubt never set foot in a boxing gym.

  • im sorry but i laughed at the ending punch

  • running 5 miles all the time wont really help at all i ran cross country you have to throw in some interval training too if you want to increase your cardio and speed

  • There's still things I do not understand.

Q: If you get up and run say 5 miles everyday, when will you have time to rest? If you go to the gym right after you run, you won't be able to spar, or do any workout that require your legs because you'll have no legs.

  • Muhammed Ali? Mike Tyson? Sorry folks Jack Dempsey takes the cake.

  • hes gay if ur a boxer thats not how u skip

  • I disagree with this guy. You dont have to have a want and desire to hurt pp in order to become a boxer

  • holy shit!! 5:30??? I'm 14, I dont need to do it :D

  • your form suck ass

  • @NOOBTUBER1988 How 'bout you make a video and show us how it's done then? Don't forget to dedicate it to me so I know it's you that made it. I'll watch your channel and if you haven't put anything up in a month or so, I'll know that you're all talk and no walk. I'll put my money on you being full of hot air.

  • Is boxing any good for self defense?

  • @MusicIzMySavior :D yea but i think he knows a lintel bit about sportsmanship now :)

  • @ffox91 you'r the one who made a stupid comment i ' m just defending my sport;)

"if we were outside you wouldnt have the guts to start a debate whit m...." come on man i can see that your a really scared. Your talking like you can beat me when you haven't even seen me cause you know that will never happen. You are the one who is internet gangster. You try to be smart but you just show everybody who are reading your comments how stupid, ignorant and scared you are!!

  • @ethiomusic you really are and only proves my point how much boxers are asking to fight and hurt people to prove a point. You didnt even give a valid reason or explained anything to me about why is boxing is so great just said "you dont understand because your not a boxer" well yeah but im a sportsman at hearth and other fighting techniques are harder and better then boxing.

I bet face to face you wouldnt have the balls to defende boxing like this you weak gang fighting punk

  • @ffox91 I didn't give you a reason why boxing is great cause you are talking trash when you don't even know a thing about it. The best way to find out is to try it or to be open minded, U don't have to worry about getting beat up cause u don't have to spar. why are you even watching this video if you don't like boxing?

haha face to face :) ur just too qt . so u want to fight now? wouldn't that make u a law life, violent, orphan and punk!!

  • @ethiomusic the prime example is mike tysons character and muhammed ali's current condition.

I gave you the facts and also boxing is the cheapest sport to train so no wonder trainers are gona pick up ppl from the street and try to earn money of them thats just how it is thats how mike tyson started.

And now your just mystifying the strength you can get from boxing while i can tell you that gymnastics and powerlifters(not bodybuilder) have way more strength.stop debating if you cant show me facts

  • @ffox91 yes boxing is cheapest sport to train is n't that a good thing ? the only thing u need is a hart, will and discipline. your blaming boxing for giving people who don't have anything to become a world champions, What about mike ? he trained hard and become a world champion hes act out side ot the ring hade nothing to do with the sport of boxing. Muhammed ali? yea there is a risk in boxing like in any other sports so what!. . just shut up and go do gymnastics.

  • @ethiomusic ok lets end this mike bitten almost both ears of that guy on live TV thats what im talking about his personal life and any other ppl that doesnt matter to me

  • @ffox91 you are right lets end this how many boxing matches have you seen to talk this much trash about boxing? you don't even have to answer that. just be a man and admit that you was wrong making a statement about something u know nothing about if not here just for your self, that will make you a better sportsman. good luck with your trainings bye;)

  • @ethiomusic

    i just started boxing

    head gear 30$

    gloves 50$

    boots 29 $

    bandages 2$

    mouthpiece 3$

    shorts 10$

i think that soccer is cheaper.......

  • @samuraihc13 haha no. i box and play soccer. im on a travel soccer team thats $2600 per SEASON. 3 seansons of it means around $8k a year. boxing is way cheaper in every way

  • @NerksGB Yeah but something tells me that the football thing goes good for you.... I mean the same money you would have to pay to go around the world in order to fight different opponents if you are an amateur.....

  • @NerksGB The name say it, Soccer is for sucker

  • @NerksGB hahah I dont understand.... Are we talking the same soccer here which is 10 of your mates and a ball?

  • @samuraihc13 noo lol. im talking travel soccer where you havea trainer and my club that i play for is thousands of dollars per season

  • @samuraihc13 there's much more expensive sports

  • @ethiomusic Go back to your gang fights you lowlife its not my fault boxing today is considered to be trained by violent orphans and street punks even in the rocky movies this fact is shown.

The quantity of training i did last year is more then you would do in 3 years so i know what im talking about, the techniques you are talking about are called resting and letting the knowledge you gained mold into your mind.

Also atk me on the internet really shows how much of a sportsman and aggressive punk-

  • @ffox91 what exactly do you mean when you say lowlife? you watched the movie rocky and u think u know all about boxing ? you are really stupid then!!. so you are telling me criminals spend so much time on training and hard work so that they can beat up people on the streets? boxing training is way tougher than any other sport you would know and respect that if u are a sportsman like ur saying. How do you know how much quantity of training i did last year?

  • I wish this guy was my trainer. It's kind of hard to get started because everyone wants to charge you.

  • Fail punch

  • @shiryet Ur mum

  • @shiryet no u

  • @shiryet u

  • he's a good boxer

  • @shiryet as i thought your a child get off the net kid this was made for "mature" adult's

  • @BlackGrizzlyWarrior

    Ur mum "Get off"

  • @shiryet wow is that all you can come up with, i'm so scared i'm shaking in my little internet boots your just a little punk.

  • @BlackGrizzlyWarrior

Nah, your just feeding the troll.

  • @shiryet i don't care i've got all day

  • @BlackGrizzlyWarrior

    Because your a loser.

  • If hes a pro why cant he keep his hands up? The first thing they teach you is your stance. Then a jab jab jab right hand left hook combo

  • this guy sucks... the focus mits, he didnt keep his hands up..

  • Yes it takes me 1 hour and 30 minutes to get the whole coarse done, 20 minutes jump rope and burpees, then after shadow boxing, speed bag, sparring, heavy bag, double end bag, heavy bag, clap pushups and abs.

  • justin seems like a good teacher

  • after watching that last punch he just did i don't think i even want to listen to his advise anymore.

  • @shiryet well he just randomly punched it cuz he liked to

  • @Yuras16

No, i don't want to listen to his advise anymore because of how bad that punch was.

The punching bag was standing still and he punched it and he fell back.

    he sucks.

  • @shiryet your an idiot that's justin fortune he fought lennox lewis back in the day

  • @BlackGrizzlyWarrior

and your point is? he still suck

  • well . i just signed up to a boxing club =) my motto "Beat the Rest and be The Best"

lol randomly came up with it =) rhymes too.

  • @aknipe106 my motto for boxing is "this is me kicking your ass" its not as catchy but its true lol

  • @darthsasuke554 nah , dont htinks so man, we were spatting nd i KO the guy on the tird time sparring , hnd he went there for a long time

  • That guy looks far too old to be a serious boxer. And slow.

  • i think evander holyfield is the best

  • nope! the greatest boxer was absolutely not heavyweight but not sugar ray manny pacquiao is better, much better

  • waking up at 5 am?!? i think im gonna stick to football lol

  • well said

  • Thats Justin Fourtune man..He knows boxing

  • coudnt of said it any better mate id rather watch lighter boxers like manny pacqiuao floyd mayweather jr amir khan and joe calzaghe than be brain washed to think that you have to liftt weights heavily and be a 265 brock lesnar speed kills and thats whats so good about the sweet science

  • get a boxing glove, n then punch anything u want, u'll become a boxer.

  • Uhh have you ever fought someone

  • Wow these are actually good vids usually expert village sucks : /

  • like you, you mean?

  • he's right: box=hard work

  • that right hand was beyond shitty. just embarrassing

  • its good man to defend your self

  • You dont need to run at 4.30..etc i run at 11am...

  • he means if u got a job

  • @MrMremini U fail at life then

  • rofl shittest right hand at the end

  • muhammed ali is the best boxer ever!!! Not Mike Tyson!

  • he was the greatest heavyweight

  • @Hansiboy67 none of them it's rocky marciano

  • The greatest boxer of all time wasn't any heavyweight it was sugar Ray Robinson.

  • @James12334455 roberto duran

  • @Hansiboy67 Hell no the best boxer is Julio Cesar Chavez he went 100+ undefeated.

  • @FATPEOPLERULE123 u mean the guy tht oscar de la hoya beat twice?

  • @STEF54 yeah that guy, look how old he was when he lost, he achieved something no boxer has ever achieved

  • @FATPEOPLERULE123 ya figured i heard of him the name sounded familiar. him in his prime wud kill anyone

  • I like Arguello and Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard.

  • @Hansiboy67 No Rocky Marciano is!

  • Farflonger is a TOTAL idiot.

    Obviously..

  • agreed

  • ..? boxing doesnt have kicks, submissions, ground n pound. doofus

  • yes hence the ' wilder ' comparative adjective inserted smart one

  • ur a noob

  • one must become a noob in order to pwn noobs before ultimately destroying all noobs so yeah stfu nooblet

  • you are stupid

  • i agree with the comment on UFC. its a great sport and i love it. but id bet 100$ that mike tyson would punch people across the octogon back in his prime. i think the boxing fighters are generally better in UFC.

    Diego Sanchez for example

  • its the discipline, UFC people seem more for show and entertainment, than actual athletics. \

take for example, their garbage reality show...

  • Mike Tyson is the best boxer ever but royce gracie would have literally killed him....

  • i want to be a boxer. i lift weights and weigh 300 pounds. so i want to hit hard to. be a killer machine or more close to break bones machine or send people to hospital machine

  • the key is actual punching practice everyday

  • I do some boxing and I'm a light heavyweight. And I can tell you weight lifting for body building gives you no power. If anything it might hurt you. Power comes from punching form and speed.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rushytheking shut up....dumbass

  • u dont know wat the hell yur talking about

  • Dude thank u greatly for that comment. I have just started to do boxing at the age of 17. Mainly for fitness and what have u but i figure if i want to be any good at it im gonna need to weightlift constantly.

But now i dont need to make it my main concern. Thank u lots :)

  • How much running do you have to do in the am is it more for speed or distance whats the average distance and time anybody know

  • as far as you can push your self i aim fro about 3 miles most pro's go for like 5 miles and its for endurance and stamina to get your legs use of constantly moving

  • @BOXERNATE1 55 miles? thats nothing lol

  • @9050James WTF are you talking about?

  • @BOXERNATE1 5 miles* haha, well i dont run often, but ive ran 10 miles before and wasnt that tired. but yh 3 miles a day is good for stamina, the 55 was a typo.

  • i love how hit like litly hits the bag in the end

  • Wow, thanks! You made me feel better about it : D I`ll stick with you`re advice! Thanks :)

  • my bad!"expertvillage"at least u have one guy who knows the buisness . did he ever worked with Freddy Roach? does anyone know,

  • Even though im skinny and don`t eat much and im a kid... Does that mean that i can become a (GOOD) boxer when i get older? :P

  • train ur muscles and reflexes and keep ur flexebility, even if ur skinny ur can grow muscles strong, im 1M84 and i weigh 75KG im skinny to but im training my muscles to become strong and then MAYBE i'm going to box

  • Thanks! :D (sorry if it was a little late)

  • these tips are actual usefull i want to box

but my mom wont let me

  • It was not a punch, it was a tap.

  • lol that guy doesnt look likea boxer..

  • he was trained by freddy roach, look it up

  • Are you kidding me?

  • Totally true. Tyson and srr said when they got in the ring they wud picture themselves as barbarians with a raging crowd that threw money at them . .kind of like gladiators. But u have to want to chracterize ur appointment as the ultimate enemy . Break his jaw, hit him wit bad intentions... as tyson used to say. He wants to hurt u so make him level wit the canvas. . . . I won 2 colorado golden gloves championships n I'm goin for a third. If u box hungry ul b impressed. . Jes dnt box stupid!

  • knocking people out and getting paid! ha ha

  • Knocking them out twice :D

  • ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali ali al ail ail ai ali

  • "you must have the desire to want to hurt people"

  • tell that to Floyd patterson

  • this is a great video, alot of people think they can step into a ring with a good technique and fitness but its ultimately about the desire to beat, and beat up, your opponent.

  • well i have the desire to punch and get punched ^^

  • i'll punch you if you want

  • i would love that lol

  • the punch at the end was crap haha

  • lol!

  • it was a tap.

  • i like punching people in the face

  • ey v ff

  • actuly i box. and i wiehg 250 pounds overwieght (im loseing wieght atm lost 10 in 1 week) and i box great. but also my arms are stronger then mike teysons teeth ^^
