  • Very appropriate - Syria as an example - World response is Disturbing?

  • Its about demonic possession I'm living through it now. Forgive me I have to worship the devil. Then there is the aliens.

  • Kitchen club Miami - slammed till 6:00 am in South Beach - great fuking times

  • I only knew about this song from Scarface: the world is yours on the x-box

  • i'd forgotten how much i loved this effing band.

  • There is plenty of ferocity in this period of their work, it is arguably their best time, though fortunately they are still around and kicking it old school.

  • woow i hear this song in scarface the game D:

  • Al Jourgensen is my Mom

  • WOODSTOCK 2012!

  • nah this is colorado waterboarding dumbasss

  • Wow was a huge static x fan and loved there version but this is so much better... never knew theres was just a cover

  • FUCK YEAH!!!! AND ILL BE SEEING THEM AGAIN IN JUNE!!!!

  • Some frontmen were just playing the role of the angst-ridden fucked in the head mentalists. Trent Reznor springs to mind (I'm sure it helped getting the groupies) Al Jourgensen was the real deal and there's a strange kind of comfort that someone is as fucked up and angry as yourself.

  • @jwood36 That Reznor was "playing a role" was a very stupid assertion, considering some of the things that have taken place in his life. I'm sure there's no need to bash him to make Jourgensen look better. Al doesn't need your help, clearly.

  • @Meburningyou Ok you make a fair point it just appears to me Reznor at least at the start of their career was enjoying the limelight, the only song of theirs I've liked was Closer. But I know nothing about his upbringing which again is a point I'll concede. But to be honest I couldn't give a flying fuck what you or anyone else thinks about it to be honest.

  • @jwood36 you bash Reznor yet you only know Closer? dude as a longer Ministry, SP KMFDM fan, hell, fan of industrial prior to NIN getting big, i gotta say, while hes not the best in the genre NIN make some quality material.

  • @hellchild65 Am absolutely thrilled to bits for you!

  • @hellchild65 You may also have noticed that I said LIKED and not listened to. I turned against Reznor after Head Like A Hole.

  • @jwood36 what? are you just hating him to hate him? head like a whole was the beginning guy lol. and how the hell do you like only Closer after hearing most material at the time? thats probly the worst NIN song, i really dont think you listened to NIN....

    oh well w/e

  • @hellchild65 Learn to read, I never said i hated him i insinuated he was a poser, am i not allowed to do that, am i not allowed to have an opinion. I couldn't care less what some faceless plank on youtube thinks of it, so if you don't mind.....

  • @Meburningyou

What had happened to Trent prior to 1988?

Went to a good school and almost got into a Classical Music-school playing Piano?

Love NIN, just never heard that he had such a bad start in life?

As for Trent Vs. Al, he loses hands down every time of course, but..

Just search for: FIX Reznor Jourgensen Supernaut extra

  • I like the remix way better.

  • йааааааааззззззззззз!!!!!

  • i really couldn't be bothered with you get out of my face and watch me die

  • I just don't understand how this guys started with synthpop :/ Thank god they changed...

  • @briands1993 Their "synthpop" material was actually pretty good in my opinion. You just gotta hear past the sound of the instruments and more to the lyrics.

  • @TheOM3G4 Yeah, well... I just can't stand it... It's too much "pop" :P

  • 322 (and all those guilty by association ) had some bad ass engineering students.

  • where are ministy for?

  • Looks like Trent has been a lot influenced by this song/video...

  • @v73k1 actually Al/Ministry is pretty much Trents idol, as late as 06 Trent told people on the radio (i believe opie and anthony you can find the interview on here too) that Ministry is one of NINs biggest and continuing influences, and Trent is pretty damn picky when it comes to music too

  • @hellchild65 I know that, just the video reminds me Head like a hole.

  • " I was never a fan of Ministry, but they wound up blowing me away every night. I didn't know how they could be so fucked up on booze and heroin and coke and whippets and go out there and crush it." -Anthony Kiedis

  • @fredfosterx Ministry was blowing u....while they were on booze an heroin an even coke...wow u really know your drugs there retard.

  • @Bwow722

    your really funny, good comment.

  • @Bwow722 " no u" haha wtf, get of your parents pc kid.

  • the original 'astonishing panorama...' - i dig it.

  • Al's fat & old now

  • @ballpeenbaby Al just turned 53 years old earlier this month. All things considered, he's aged pretty well.

  • @ballpeenbaby That happens to all humans

  • why is there a jonas brothers ad on every MINISTRY video??????????

  • good song, Al looks like a member of the fuckin village people though

  • i Luv the Ministry

  • for some reason (maybe talent?) Ministry (especially this album) never gets old.

that can rarely be said about much else of the 90's...

  • Love it but it but.it's a

Video that will always be banned by those in power.

  • ...and another great track!

  • woah, sounds like ichigo while hollowfied...

  • Hmmmm.... It's the first time that i lesten to Ministry and I like it :D

  • God I miss this band. Fortunately though they were the godfathers of the genre that gave us other great bands like NIN and Static-X.

  • Ministry was so far ahead of their time I missed them! Holy shit this rocks!

  • the song from SCARFACE awesome!!!

  • Gods of Atheism.

  • i like this song.

  • If Ministry would of released this song today or was a new band i think they would be superstars...just saying

  • @scotter420wigb to me they are superstars !!!!!!! they f***ing rock

  • This is just great fucking alternative rock n roll!

  • Thank you for the upload!!! the best version.

  • I wish more people my age (15) would listen music like this.....Most people I know either listen to manufactured Top 40 or emo shit like Blood on the Dancefloor and Asking Alexandria...it's a crying shame.

  • everyone say hello to Ogre on keys...hi ogre

  • It's like Astonishing Panorama of the Endtimes over the video for Wish

  • I liked ministry a lot better when Big Black did it.

  • @nuclearjanitors ......when did Albini produce them??? He was doing Big Black during this time...roduced tons of other shit...Chevelle's been the best yet!

  • @klouzerk Albini HATES Ministry. Thinks they are essentially a Big Black tribute act.

  • @GodoftheHanged Albini hates pretty much everything. He's such a grumpy bear.

  • @gangurobitch yeah, but he made some bitchin music with Big Black

  • I have heard of thobbing gristle they did Hamburger lady right?

  • say hello to my little friend

  • 15 people have no taste in music i see.

  • Right now fourteen people are burning outside!

  • WTF is up with a FUCKIN KMART commercial over the BEST FUCKING BAND IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD??!!!???!!

  • @funkypost Lol I got a commercial with Nick Jonas in it, what the fuck man. Youtube doesn't understand what a target audience is.

  • Ha, I'm putting together my long distance running music and THIS song is a must.

  • would recommend checking out the video in case you didn't feel like showing up Live... For the time it came out, still fresh today... Not to mention, one heck of a show...

  • on Oct 26, 2009

  • Saw these guys at the very first Lollapalooza, they cranked the sound system so high it nearly blew out. Ahhhh, good times.......

  • @yeknomd - yes, I remember that. The ground actually shook!!

  • @yeknomd Um... I was at the first Lollapalooza in 1991. It was with Jane's Addiction & Nine Inch Nails (among others). Ministry was at the second Lolla in '92.

  • @djtahoe oops, you're right! too many good times for me lol! memory gets rusty. hey, did you ever go to End Fest? about '91-92' I think.

  • @yeknomd between 91-92 they worked on Psalm 69 and tour on the Lollapalloza tour.

  • @djtahoe a good friend from Chicago was doing their sound @ Lollapalooza...Lee Popa!!! Also playing with them then was the late great Paul Raven on bass!!!!! RIP dude!!! Also saw them in Phx when KMFDM opened for them...best ever!!!

  • Anyone know where I can find a sound file (or at least a source from a movie) for the 'siren/alarm' they use in the beginning of the song? Been looking for it for awhile now..

  • @MEvsEVERYBODY It's from "John Carpenter's The Thing"

  • you want real industrial then listen to Einstuerzende Neubauten - may have been brought up here but I didn't read all the comments. Not to say that Ministry isn't great - love them.

  • @newmusicblows I think Industrial has changed since those gys, TG and Cabaret Voltaire, i mean you can still call these guys, NIN, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, PIG true industrial as well. its not really the time period when it came out, its more so the music

  • @hellchild65 very true. I made the comment mainly because of the variety of truly industrial "instruments" that Einstuerzende Neubauten play - drills, brake pads, pipes, plasic drums etc. etc. Whatever comes to hand blended with the usual guitars etc.

  • @newmusicblows You want real industrial then listen to Throbbing Gristle. It was them who gave the genre it's name after all. :) (Einstürzende Neubauten is still awesome though)

  • There will never be another ministry quite like this. It all happened for them at the right time. They were the pioneers of intrustrial metal is What Alain Jourgenson the lead singer calls his music. I heard him say that in an interview on 120 minutes with Matt Penfield the host of that show. Not Aggro Industrial like some people say it is.

  • i traded a semester of college{1990} for 6 months of bong hits for industrial purposes

  • saw this tour live in probably '90. this song had the most intense pit i have ever experienced; teeth and eyeballs flying everywhere, running for my life with no escape and no mercy at all. fucking awesome O___O

  • Industrial needs to make a comeback.

  • I bet a majority of these posters are kids who weren't even old enough to go to a Ministry show back in the day and hink they know everything... Maybe they caught lalapalooza at the ass end of Ministry's days, but Ministry wasn't an outdoor band.. They were a club band.. Mosh pits suck without walls to keep the pit dense.. Jourgensen was the band.. and he did do side projects.. 1000 homo DJs, Pigface, Revolting Cocks, just to name a few...

  • @IntristicValue Amen!!! there was no way to escape a pit in a club, mosh or be moshed!!!!

  • How could anyone not like this band?!

  • Ministry is the meaning of "EVIL"

  • This izzzzz a GOOGOOD Xample!

  • this reminds me of when all music didn't suck

  • Comment removed

  • scarface the world is yours

  • Great band if the singer would just keep his mouth shut. To bad they don't make a solo without him :(

  • @icicicles I'm sure you're a great guy too...when you keep your mouth shut.

  • @uwiwithanuzi

I didn't say he was a great guy, I said the band was great but the singer SUCKS!!!!!

A very BORING voice, monotone no highs no lows, no valleys no ridges, get it?

Your right about me being a great guy though!

  • @icicicles

Er...apparently you don't get Industrial. Well...80's Industrial at least.

  • @icicicles - Actually they did. It's a band/project called Pigface. Look it up.

  • @icicicles do you think at all before you comment on videos? i have one word for you: STUPID

  • @metalandsex

I have an opinion and you don't like it you call me stupid.

I guess I could say the same thing about you for liking the singer, well that would be narrow minded and stupid of me as I know their are all kinds of taste out there!

Second you say "do you think at all before you comment on videos? i have one word for you: STUPID"

Well that's 17 words STUPID! Learn how to count!

  • @icicicles don't be a cunt and try to pick at technicalities. and i have an opinion too. it's that you're an idiot. got it?

  • @metalandsex

You call me a cunt in a derogatory expression, like you don't get what you need from it. Guess that can only mean two things, one you can't get cunt or two you cant find what you need from a cunt, so which is it?

Opinion, it's the latter over the former.

  • @icicicles either you have no social adaptivity and think that a derogatory term can be linked with someone's social life, or you know how incessant and naive you sound and are just making these inferences because you think you're smart, when really you just know a couple of words and can't even place them properly. so i suggest you stop acting like an underdeveloped attempt at an elitist snob and find a better use of your time.

  • @metalandsex

Derogatory terms are semiotic, if you don't like the connotation then don't use them.

Second, if you want me to stop writing genius then stop writing me!

  • @icicicles derogatory terms are only semiotic when they're racial. the rest of the time their influence is very general.

let's think about this in perspective though. we don't know each other, and we probably sound like incessant idiots by now.

  • @metalandsex

    LOL! Agree!

We agree this is a great band? Except my differences in a singer. Like taste in movies, we can agree to agree but should also agree to disagree. Neither lesser; only makes the world more flamboyant.

Imagine, we all wore the same suite and drove the same car of the same color. Now imagine that we also have the same home design with yard and color coordination's. Wouldn't the world seem a bit boring? That is why we must agree to disagree!

    Have a nice wk-end :)

  • @icicicles you too man

  • WAHEY! I'm 123,666

  • enjoy......crap!!!!

  • The best way to collect some of these is fom the almum "In case you didn't feel like showing up. Live..."

I have the records and tapes of both of these albums. And when I go shopping at stores I see the "... live" one show up the most

  • @timmytapeworm13

Are you high? Ministry is why Trent Reznor could do what he did. Go look up Revolting Cocks and Acid Horse while you're at it.

  • @allmitchell I'm talking about the video similarities. Not music.

  • 11 idiots who did not like the song
