tight up belt and battery pins, check also fuel pump. Fuel pump breaks easy when you have a less gas in a tank. elantra's spare parts cheap. just change new parts

es el Motor de un Elantra 94 o 95 la cilindrada es 1.8 y seguramente el ruido al arrancar es de la correa del alternador.

Thats how I bought the car. I was planning on dropping the 4G63T in there but it had a whole bunch of electrical issues which I was never able to get fixed. The squealing noise was obviously the alternator belt. Which I tightened. The problem I had was getting the car started. Anyways, the car is gone now.

might want to check your spark plugs. Maby tighten up your belt a bit. eh. dunno.. I got a hyundai elantra and no affence but this is like one of the videos where the stupid ass civic drivers pop in and say. DAMN!! what a peice of shit. :S.. we get a bad rap due to people not paying attention to issues.

yo dude did you try to clean out the idle control valve, it's the sensor near the throttle either that or you need a major tun up and a stronger battery,

Sounds high a lot higher pitched than my alternator belt slipping (could be just because its on video), but it seems common on these engines to require tighting the alternator belt every once in a while.

Fanbelt???? this is a FWD his fan is not moved by a belt... maybe is the alternator belt

the alternator belt would be the serpentine belt....if it is coming from the alternator it is the bearings in the alternator...if that is the case then the alternator is not working and that could be the reason the whole motor won't engage
