The md-11 is not old it's about the same age as the a340 and 777. The reason nobody floes them anymore is they are not fuel efficient but they make one of the best cargo aircraft why do you think FedEx has over 60 of them.

Ya know what suck monkeydick on these planes: No power outlet for laptop in economy! Finnair's A333s on the other hand, do have outlets in economy... IMO, the md11 won't be missed.

Wow how much I love this plane. I flew on them all over the world with my family as a kid, and NEVER had a bad flight. They are screaming beasts, but one hell of an airplane. I know somebody is going to respond telling me how 'dangerous' they were, crashes, bla bla bla....Long live the DC-10/MD-11

how long is the flight from Helsinki to Suvarnabhumi?

it's probably takes an hour or two less to go to Australia (with connections in Bangkok) than it would from London or Paris

I flight in Suvarnabhumi, November 07, and it takes like 9 and half ours to go and 10 and half ours to come back.

HEL.-BKK-SYD takes around 21h as shortest, HEL-HKG-SYD 20h, with connections.

The HEL-BKK route will be the last MD-11 route for AY, will be replaced by A333, by next spring.

Flight from Helsinki-Vantaa to Suvarnabhumi is 9 hours and 55 minutes. From Suvarnabhumi to Helsinki-Vantaa the flight time is 10hours and 20 minutes.
