Alexis often wore her hair in a loose flip in the early episodes. It looks a lot like her 70s style, like in "Tales from the Crypt". Soon it would become the more familiar Nancy Reagan bouffant but she did go back to this style briefly in a few later episodes when Blake had amnesia and thought they were still married.

No I think this is actually her real hair. There may be extensions, but it is definitely not a full on wig. In seasons 2 and 3 she never really wore a full on wig except for a few scenes. She had extensions in many, but in scenes where her hair looks like this I'm pretty sure its all hers.

But I agree with zac... Alexis looks the best with her long and natural looking! I hate the short 80's do.

This is a great scene. It's actually a build up to their first catfight. Alexis thought the love between Blake and Krystle was fake , but, that wasn't the case...or was it? Krystle cheated on Blake!! (Matthew Blaisdel,Dr. Toscani,Daniel Reece) Damn that Krystle!! No wonder Alexis stood her ground. And remember when Blake raped Krystle just to get some lovin'?

Good point, but mind you this is an estate complete with a servants quarters, a majordomo, the works. LOL. Blake was never really home whenever Alexis was trapsing about unnerving people and getting herself into trouble. He did his best to try and get her to sell back the art studio, but she wouldn't budge, and then her motivation for staying became to protect Steven's interests as Blake had just cut him out of the will.

Still after all these years this scene makes me shiver! So much threat, so much hatred! The magic between Linda Evans and Joan Collins has never been so breathtaking again. By the way keep your attention to the music. It underlines all the drama in the first years, this scene is a impressive example. Shame on me, I forgot the composers name (Lazarone?!), but he wrote all the remarkable themes for all the main characters and they were used on all the highlight episodes in the first three seasons.

More brilliance from these two... Alexis was downright evil. Her cunning manipulation of other people's psyche was fantastic to watch, however. There are things only she could get away with. LOL!

She constantly pulled puppet strings, created domino effects, and feigned concern for the greater good in order to exact revenge, plot success and demise, and get what she wanted no matter what. Joan Collins is a phenomenal actress. And Linda Evans was always very underrated (and underused). They pulled off a lot of incredible scenes together and complement each other probably better than any set of actors.
