  • Es el mejor!!

  • HERE IT IS...This is what I mean by fluid scrolling example, and Ive selected the DC so no excuses you auran boys....

  • What a funky-ass tune! D/Ling now!

...All's I need now are some Es! =P

  • This track has such an awesome bridge that starts at 1:34 and kicks in at 1:47. Amazing stuff from Richard Jacques once again.

  • I kept repeating this track While I played the game. I want to fire up the ol' DC and play this again.

  • Kudos to You for uploading this track :)

  • Nostalgia... Trance.

  • Incredible track for an incredible game!!

    It's pure progressive :)

  • This reminds me so much of the Panic Puppet Zone from Sonic 3D Blast on the Sega Saturn

  • Comment removed

  • KUDO's for everybody!

  • The sound tracks, the "radio stations" and the races at night were simply remarkable.

  • Many incredible things of this game were copied by other racing games after this one.

  • Best Racing Game Ever

  • I loved this game and miss playing it so much, i remember playing it for hours on end, and trying to better my lap times in the competition that was held for the fastest laps on i think were 3 different tracks.

  • @TommyPeeper That was the Speed Challenge competition from early 2001. I have videos of all 3 courses on my page.

  • @RJAY63

Thanks for the info, i will have a look.

  • THE BEST

  • the best of the best, msr sega dance "club paris" just rocks!

  • watching this makes me wanna buy it

  • Welp...Bizarre's a thing of the past.

Sadly, I wasn't a big fan of their work (PGR is a tough series to get into, IMO, and Blur turned out to be 'meh' when compared to Split/Second).

  • @HinataChan30

PGR is a bit tough, but quality series no doubt. Where they went wrong, was to use music from many different people and bands. Metropolis Street Racer has original soundtrack made just for it. Fur Fighters from Bizarre Creations is one of the best games ever made.

  • @Janmanni Does this game really has more than 200 songs?

  • @Deepmindandheartlife

You may be thinking about race tracks and not music tracks. From Wikipedia: MSR has 262 race tracks. Of course not all of them are "all new" tracks. Great variation nevertheless. MSR has 27 great music tracks. You can find them by clicking a link in my video description.

  • I fucking love you, Dreamcast

  • No racing game gave me yet the same feeling I had playing MSR. Superb game, love the night tracks...

  • Graphics in this game kicked took a crap on every single driving game made for the ps2.

  • see this gameplay with this music, makes me cry with nostalgia. it´s impossible to go much further in racing car games. not even in a PS100000 you will find one so good as this. trust me. LOVE MSR. thanks for posting this video :)

  • Superb track!! This game is amazing... Dreamcast RIP! T_T

  • @Shadowserg

While I don't play Dreamcast games that much anymore, my Dreamcast won't get to rest in peace just yet. ;)

Sadly Bizarre Creations is closing its doors February 18th 2011. :(

Metropolis Street Racer, Project Gotham Racing 4 and Fur Fighters belong to my all time favorites.

  • I think that SWATCH TIMING this game has SWATCH TIMING very good graphics and SWATCH TIMING good music, but the SWATCH TIMING product placement SWATCH TIMING is kinda SWATCH TIMING aggravating.

SWATCH TIMING SWATCH TIMING SWATCH TIMING SWATCH TIMING

  • @sygnus5

Product placement can be annoying, but it doesn't bother me in this game. Many sport events show what timing system they use. Such a great game so I am actually glad because they probably got some money from Swatch. :)

  • This is orgasmic.

  • This game was OK, but it kinda got boring after the whole "wow! the tracks are based on real locations" wore off. Underneath it was a pretty average racing game. I preferred Sega GT by far, even though the music on this game was a billion times better - but then again, if I want good music I'll buy a CD... well at lest back then you did.

  • OMG I loved this game!

  • nice!

  • i think richard jaques used a program called fl studio to produce this amazing song i would know coz i make music simular to this style hey can u check my songs out plz? im subbing

  • @MultiDoomsday666

Really liked, so I subscribed. :) All were good. Rise of the fallen being my favorite. It rolled on so smoothly.

  • @Janmanni haha kool and thanks for the subb i have a part 1 to rise of the fallen its called the fallen and im thinking of posting it up on youtube now tht uv subbed it will automatically let u know wen i put a new song up wich u know lol do u make music??

  • @MultiDoomsday666 No. I don't make music.

  • @Janmanni ah so u r just a awsome judge then ?

  • @Janmanni hey dude im making my own version of club paris and im gonna upload it to youtube wen i feel its just right i figured you would like to know : )

  • @Janmanni haha ur right lol

  • @MultiDoomsday666 Jacques is a professional musician, don't think pros use FL studio :P the guy has a fucking pro studio to produce his music.

  • richard jacques!!

  • I remember being hyped for this game like crazy back as a kid but never got around to playing it.

    Maybe I ought to now.

  • RACE FAST CARS THROUGH HUGE REAL CITY SCAPES AT NIGHT WITH IMMENSE TUNES.

Who could fail to love this?

  • thanks for the music! and what was the music at San Francisco race please?

  • I wish they released this game on xbox live... my dreamcast stopped working a few years ago and I really miss this game >.<

  • @VenomTheHedgehog Project Gotham and its sequels are actually made by the same people (Bizarre Creations) and is essentially the same thing so you can just play one of those titles.

  • @KiAnimeCommunity I do own PGR 4 but it's never the same thing...

  • @VenomTheHedgehog Yeah, I guess the closest one would be the first Project Gotham for Xbox. It has all the same cities plus New York. The only thing lacking is the soundtrack. The music from MSR is classic.

  • @KiAnimeCommunity I completely agree... I really wish they'd brought back this and some other games

  • this just shows why everyone should get a hold of a dreamcast..all the games cost next to nothing and theres over 700, test drive le mans looks even better than this..it looks as god as anything you will see on the ps2

  • ok, i see where project gotham originated... great game

  • i was addicted to that game. i played the game all night, like a maniac. and i have been in london trafalgar

  • sounds like something robert miles would do

  • At the beginning of the track it sounded like it was gonna go into children...Great looking game..

  • This is a Very fun game! The best racer on the DC..!!

  • Legendary game!

  • Just had that feeling..that you really driving in San Francisco,London,Tokyo, just ridin' without thinking about your problems :") SUPER SUPREME Game!

  • i fuckin love this bloody game

  • that was one grate game and there isn't another dreamcast game with music that good i still play this game today i love that song

  • music reminds me of Mirror's Edge1

  • I always liked push

  • Thanks you very much for the song! It is perfect as the game!! Metropolis street racer is a legent game.. Where can I find the other songs?

  • i been looking for this song ever thx for the upload

  • OMG that level is the same one as in the first PGR and the game looks the same as well exactly.

  • ...maybe because it's London, Trafalgar Square...

  • Metropolis Street Racer Or Project Gotham Racing? Whatever, Both titles are greater racing titles. Great work for Bizarre Creations

  • The best, stylish and elitist racing game. Viva Bizarre! Viva Sega!

  • Hey bro, nice touch changing the messages pop ups to Clu Paris.

Much better than wey hey or penalty!!!

  • best game 4ever! (Y)

  • agree !!! beatiful

  • Звуки для души моей молодости

  • @AlekseyLND Mdaaa ! Ti prav ! Jali 4to moi Dreamcast umer, a tak, poigral bi eshe, treahnul bi starinoi. :)

  • Так не проблема купить дримкаст - в интернете по объявлению это можно осуществить легко - долларов за 100 :), другое дело, что дримкаст уже раритет), а музыка действительно отличная).

  • God that is some AWESOME TECHNO.

  • this and jet set radio were my fav DC games, they rocked

  • it sure felt fast but that cappucino is SLOW

  • awesome 90s soundtrack, almost like insomnia.

  • soundtrack sounds a bit like Mirror's Edge's

  • wich track i like this genere?

  • Lol at the opening scene. If only London was that empty.

  • This was one sweet game, the level of detail that went into this was mind blowing, it was way ahead of the NFS games of the time. And Project Gotham is basically a cclone of MSR with slight omprovements and better cars. Ahh i miss my Dreamcast

  • How can it be a clone, when it's the same developers?

  • hmmmmm good point.

  • That's a thing that people usually refer to a game as a "clone" is it is a retarded money grabbing copy, but i hope you know what a clone originally is...

  • This game was amazing back in the days. It truly felt like a next-gen racing game.

  • Metropolis Street Racer - самая лучшая гонка, я в нее просто влюбился!! А композиция club de Paris - это просто шедевр!!

Когда едешь в игре под эту музыку забываешь обо всем...

    I LOVE DREAMCAST

  • fantastic music.. and game of course..

  • love this song, sounds alot like Robert Miles - "Fable". This was an incredibly stylish racer with a soundtrack to match. a lot of Project Gotham players have no idea it spawned from this game.

  • que de souvenirs!

  • by the way, you suck........you should see me playing that game!

  • Jap he sucks really,... :P

  • this is from far the best game that i have play.....great tracks, real landscapes and real cars....and dreamcast was the best platform, after megadrive...lol...but only lasts for 3 year

  • Ive had a lame MG roadster, and the handling in this game is as real as it comes in my opinion. Almost spot on. Ive played many other racers, but this is one of the best no doubt.

  • great game... even better song

  • Oh no wonder, Richard Jacques is a legend. I had Sonic 3D Blast, but Genesis and PC version have different soundtracks..Richard did some beautiful tracks for the PC version

  • Here here. He is an underappreciated maestro. Just like Spencer Nilsen.

  • Spencer Nilsen seems familiar too, what other game music have I heard him from ??

  • He did the soundtrack to the American version of Sonic CD. The soundtrack to Jurassic Park, Ecco the Dolphin and Ecco: Tides of Time to name a few.

  • I remember Windows 95 has a Ecco demo. I got some soundtrack too..don't know if it's him recently..really fits that underwater mood 0_0

  • Omg i never noticed how good the light effects were and yeah i have this game + like 45 or so other games :D

if you want me to do a vid of my game collection atm pm me :)

    DREMACAST FTW

  • one word: "DREAMcast" lol nice memory times^^

  • This game shows what the Dreamcast was capable off, i sill play this game today and playing it in a good television looks amazing, the onlly problem in the graphics is that the cars dont have reflexes of senary, the dreamcast was capable of doing that, but this game is stil amazing in visuals, in a good television playng in the night tracks, the visuals looks beter than some actual games, and those light efects at 2:06 to 2:07 are the best light efects in a video game, no joking they really are

  • That is is why I did that little swirl. To show that incredible lighting and the lions in Nelson's Column. And that is no joke either. :)

  • @dinizgames -If you want to see good lighting effects then try Perfect Dark on N64, it focuses on interactive lighting. Also some other games like JFG and Zelda:OOT has neat lighting tricks as well as some Acclaim games like Forsaken.

  • kudos!

  • Man i miss those sweet old times.

This game has to be the most relaxing racing game alongside with Test drive unlimited.

I will never let go of my Dreamcast.

I did once but will never do it again! :D

  • yes, MSR and TDU are the best game ;)

  • wonderfull drift, MSR 4EVER

  • My favorite racing game ever! I still have my dreamcast and my MSR! I have this song in my pc, if anybody wants let me know.

  • dude , i want this track!

  • This game was great and this was my favorite track as well! I loved how the game used the internal clock to work with the times of the races. Yes if you could send me the track that would be great!

  • i was the master at this game but i suck at need for speed series.I never should of gave my DC away especially this game, luckily i have a spare DC in public storage but i have to buy MSR again, what i realy want is the soundtrack of this game, does anyone know how to rip the tracks from the game,or at least play all tracks on my Macbook.

  • MSR is a legend. Maybe the song sounds like Children, but Club Paris is best for me.

  • I playerd this game when it came out, and I still loving it ^^ 5/5

  • Bought MSR together with the DC at launch in germany. Was really worth the 600 Bucks (those were the times we still had the D-Mark). It showed what the DC could handle. Great Visuals, Music and Gameplay. Played this for months, this game was and still is a need for speed KILLER!!! It has all the elements of modern nfs games - but years before EA did. DC was the best console of it´s time and will ever be worth being played on!

  • I agree with you blackmetaldaddy. DC is a legend. If there be a beter marketing for it.. Great graphics, sound and gameplay... Metropolis, Shemnue, Sonic..

  • All hail the power of the Dreamcast. MSR is a testament to the potential of the system.

  • I can not believe a 10 year old machine is pulling off those visuals. It looks amazing !!

  • It does look amazing. Dreamcast is very powerful. Night-time lighting in this game is maybe better than in current-gen games!

  • Sounds more like Sash! to me. Nothing like the mellow and haunting trance feel of 'Children'.

  • Feel the magic of Metropolis.. The mother of Progect Gotham Racing.

  • ROBERT MILES - CHILDREN.

    :P

  • Greatest racing game ever... featuring Richard Jacques with his amazing music productions.

BTW: "CLUB PARIS" IS A "RICHARD MILES - CHILDREN" RIP OFF!!!

  • Have it on my iPod. Will never forget the felling of driving through London at night in this fantastic game. It had its flaws, sure, but MSR really demonstrated the power of the Dreamcast at the time. On Xbox, Bizarre Creations could finally let us play our own music - just like the always wanted us to.

  • Have you Msn ??

Can You Send To Me ?? :)

  • nice!

  • amazing game and soundtrack ...

  • amazing game and soundtrack.. Magic times in Dreamcast

  • I have this track on my mp3 player, richard jacques is the shit

  • sega dreamcast 4ever

  • Absolutely stunning game that was way ahead of it's time. And Club Paris was the best track from the game!!

  • Amazing game.

  • COOL

  • Would any one recamend this game to someone who realy enjoyed ridge racer 4?

  • yes

  • This game and indeed PGR3 and 4 have lots of powersliding movements and arcade racing type elements which would suit fans of RR4.

  • thanks

  • hehe i used to put amusing things as my registration plate, still love this game even over pgr

  • i changed the text to for fucks sake when you hit a barrier simple things please simple minds

  • Great but frustrating at times. I actually finished it!

  • omg the old PGR LOL

  • To bad dreamcast died so fast. That was really good title I remember skiping classes for that game.I guess that was my favorite audio track too :)

  • Cool MUsic

  • The best racing game for Dreamcast

  • Ferrari F-355 Challenge?

  • nah, that sucked

  • Ooh good one....but I'll lean toward MSR. Ever play it in the arcade?

  • who?

  • I like how you made your comments say Club Paris. :p I had put mine saying "You idiot!" in Japanese.

  • What was great is the actual time you played matched to the time of the different cities around the world.

  • richard jacques = legend

he composed the music for the entire sonic 3d blast on the saturn, one of the most amazing music of all time

  • the driver is most or minus

  • I used the GT-Four as well. It's the best car other than the Skyline. The TVR in the game can't handle in wet weather!

  • yay bought a dreamcast yesterday and i bought msr with it :)

  • just out of interest, the final championship where u challenge the skyline, what car did people use for that. i used the celica gt-four

  • bugaati veyron

  • i do have club paris on media player but it doesnt sound right , i think its a midi version but i dunno where to get the actual soundtrack.i think richard jaques, the composer of it , i think his website still has club paris on it which u can listen to there

  • send me your email, and i would send you mp3 version.

  • Great!

  • skyline races => best championship ever.

  • Yeh it's an ace game! It gets so hard towards the end tho. I fing the Skyline races well hard!

  • There are a few places where you can get the music online now, but I got mine by doing a direct sound rip. Freeway and Outside In are my favorites and the Jazz-Funk in MSR was just awesome. Good video Janmanni, I might have to do a MSR Music Video or two. If you are interested in the music from the game, send me a private message.

  • sweet the song is super cool^.^

  • This game is awesome and I love the music!!! :)

  • I managed to get mp3 tracks from Metropolis Street Racer game disc. First record to DVD gameplay video (for example just that radio player playing different tracks). Then finalize the disc if necessary. Then use MediaCoder (free software) to get just music tracks (no video) to mp3 files. Little bit time-consuming, but works great!

  • tro bien la zik et le jeu vive la dreamcast la meilleure console de tout les temp!!!!!

  • t'as raison mec

  • The only racer I have ever enjoyed in the whole life!

  • mejor que gran turismo

  • pgr woudnt exist if this didnt come out
