I actually think that both, the second and the first overlord games are good, each one has its own thing that is better than the other game, e.g. in the 1st one forging is better you can choose how you want your weapon to develop, on the 2nd one, the minions are a lot stronger and have extra benefits which helps you throughout the game. Also, the first one has better customization of the tower, the 2nd game though, you can improve your minions, and so on, and so on. Both are equally awesome =D!

Doesn't look as good as the first one, just finished the first one again then played the second's demo, one really fucking annoying problem with the second is the guard marker things, they are now slaped onto units which means it feels stiff to move the guard marker thing, which the guard marker is a vital part of the first one. Anyone who tried completeing the first one without using the guard marker is fucking bat shit bonkers.

So the only difference for the minions is the blue ones can slip past enemies for a limited time?

Unless they actually manage to make the greens more effective by targeting and letting the AI decided how best to get around the enemy.

Yeah but possessing them is a good idea. In the first I beat the game with browns and blues. Reds and greens were only for objectives.

It seemed they only could take down large enemies with the help of browns. So i used browns to rip enemies to pieces and blues to heal the fallen browns.
