As a sixty-year old lifelong student of the guitar that has lived in Hawaii continuously now for almost thirty years, I can safely say that no single slack key artist (past or present) has had more of a profound or lasting impact on me than Hawaii's own, the most cherished Reverend Dennis Kamakahi. Magic in his fingers, magic in his voice, but mostly magic in his heart. He is the "real" deal. Mahalos for a lifetime of beautiful music, Dennis!

Dennis sounds so very good! His guitar is one of the sweetest sounding I have ever heard. There's magic in his fingers! Mahalo to Dennis for all he does for Hawaiian music and to Uncle George for providing the venue to showcase the best in Hawaiian music.
