Qualifiers are a bad indicator of what will happen. The pace of qualifiers are much slower and horses aren't pushed hard. Go Yannick. Hope to see you there winning a lot this meet!
The banks are so very critical insofar as the handicapping angle is concerned, right? Well, of the 20 qualifiers this morning, only 2 races consisted of winning horses coming from 3+ lengths behind at the 3/4 mark. In other words, 18 of the 20 races were won by horses on the front end. Bottom-line: Do your due diligence when handicapping folks because EVERYTHING will be dependant upon the fractions and the pace.
